We'll see, but I think it's pretty close, and the edge goes to FXO. Their reliance on Lucky and Leenock might be their doom if they haven't adapted to HotS yet though.
LG-IM dominated IEM and grabbed all top 4 spots over players like violet. If anything, they are huge favorites here.
I disagree, it was a zero hour tournament against mostly foreigners, and they played the game as if it were WoL. MVP and Seed showed no signs of adaptation between IEM and MLG. It's very unclear whether they understand HotS at all.
No doubt they are good players, but we haven't seen anything interesting from them yet.
Edit: I'll admit that I forgot MC will be playing for them this season, though. That definitely makes their lineup a lot stronger.
of all teams to call weak in HotS you pick the one who won the gstl pre season convincingly and dominated a tournament, yes it was a weaker lineup than MLG but they still beat violet, parting, dream, golden and mc. this is just laughable.
plus the fact that they in fact have MC on the team, too, and he has some very useful builds for GSTL style matches.

Ruin and Ragnarok also looked ridiculously good in HotS in preseason, too. So Ruin being 'unknown' only to people who didn't watch pre-season.

LG-IEM definitely doesn't help either :/
Nor that FXO went out 2nd round in the pre-season to Azubu, whom IM beat to win the entire thing :p

True say, but I guarantee the polls would still look approximately the same even if FXO had won the pre-season.
I don't think betting on either team would be a bad decision if you were putting money down. I think it's less "Blind Fanboyism" and more "well shit, it's a coinflip, I'm going to go with LGIM because they have like 75% of the GSL championships on the team" or "Well hey, it's pretty close, I'm going to go with my favorite team because they can certainly win!"
Nobody's underestimating FXO, and I think if there was a poll for map score you'd probably see a high number of final match predictions.
But yeah, IM's going to win it, I foresee Yoda getting 2, and think they'll send out at least one lower level player second before bringing out the big guns if necessary. (Honestly I'd love for a Losira reverse all-kill, but to claim it will happen would definitely be blind fanboyism :p )

I dunno, I just personally find the seemingly boundless LG-IM partiality on this site to be nauseating, it's like an irreversible bandwagon effect or something.
