Do you remember any of the games Stephano played during that period against top Korean Terrans? And he did play at the end of 2011, in the Blizzard cup. Got knocked out 1st round. IPL3. He beat Boxer and TheStC, and lost to Alive. They aren't much compare to the top terrans he would've had to face in the GSL.

For some reason GSL format is seen as superior though. I'm not saying the weekend format is superior, just different.

But neither Boxer, nor StC were top Terrans. aLive was pretty good and Stephano lost to him. Lets just all agree that Stephano is a good player, the best foreigner, but all the hype of him winnig GSL ez was bullshit and extremely annoying.

Shortly after, at MLG he lost to Boxer and theStC after beating them the first time. His vT was very snipe-able back then. Not sure if it was the Queen/OL patch that helped him or he figured soomething else out b/c I didn't watch late 2011, early 2012; still he was a lot stronger when I saw him mid-2012 than the time frame you gave. Actually, I think his best shot would be 2012 season 2 or 3. Not saying he'll win, just that it'd be his best shot considering his form.

So you gave an example of a tournament where he lost to the only Terran who was in Code S at the time? Thanks for proving my point. There's no point to be made. You're attempting to take one series and make claims about how good or bad he might've done in a hypothetical situation 3 years ago. Good luck with that.

Once in the qualifiers and the 2nd time in the weird bracket. But yes, that 2nd time was meaningless.

Sad to see Stephano go, only caught the third map, which didn't go so much as planned. Better luck in Up / Downs Stephano!
