In the beginning, it looked like Demuslim was behind by losnig 4 hellions for three probes. But at the end he was up 4 scvs with a third on the way. Demuslim was ahead in economy and production and Grubby couldn't hit any timing that the late stim gave him. Basically Demuslim's bio medivac force was cost efficient while Grubby's tech was late because of the stargate tech. He didn't have enough time to get enough storms and demuslim took the game to a very high octane pressure that tests the mechanics of both players. Demuslim was hitting his depots and production cycles and making more rax. And the difference in spending kind of snowballed out of control. | ||

It was also announced, that the very last player will be the one with the longest winning streak, so they don't have bring in one player, to just play a single match at max. | ||
