Player is good -> EG buys player -> player not that good anymore due to EG's not-so-good training/coaching staff -> player gets worse than before, ppl start talking about "EG curse". That leads to EG buying new ppl (which would be Jaedong and Revival at this point in time). Let's wait another year to see them fall into another state of meaningless being, just as JYP, Puma and HuK did. I mean, srsly, who is excited for one of them going Code S, and seriously expecting one of them to go for a code S round of 8/4/finals? Who does expect JYP to win a Dreamhack (just to mention poorer standards), who expects Puma to win a IEM, who expects HuK to win a MLG? Noone would do this. Of course one would root and cheer for them, but really expecting ppl to be first is like expecting Grubby to become multiple Code S champ. Lol.

Players EG bought since SC2's release: Puma, JYP, HuK, Thorzain, Stephano, Jaedong, Revival. Players EG trained since SC2's release: IdrA, Machine, Incontrol, Demuslim, Lzgamer See the difference?

Honestly, I think that underprepared Stephano would do ways better than Puma, Zenio or JYP. I don't think one game would wear him out)))))

Though IdrA was not trained by EG, I remember Idra playing in CJ Entus (maybe i'm remembering wrong, long time down in the brood wars..). Incontrol is more into hosting these days, machine is..well, machine, nice guy ofc, but not a player getting good results. Demuslim has had such a huge ingame knowledge, metagame knowledge he proved often, I still don't know why he go so out of focus. Lzgamer, yeah, what a <iron>huge, great, awesome player </irony>. Next victim of EG is obviously ThorZain, not getting any results in any league/tournament. HuK is done already. Next victim to the big moneyboy will be stephano. Remember my words, in about a year, Stephano's star will be sunken into the deep muddy ocean of EG's dirty money. I'm not really kidding with these words.

Especially since I don't see Stephano doing well in GSL Thing is though, EGTL can still do well. Today doesn't have to be indicative of their overall performance in the long run. Maybe they're still settling in. I hope so at least because that means they should get more stable over time
