GG hero!

I'm beginning to think his "caliber" isn't really all that high...

Really though, who has he beaten? Brain (who?), Flash(mildly overrated and not very good at TvT), Symbol(very streaky himself), and a couple Bo1's against mid-tier terrans. He's shown some pretty good games, but is relatively unproven as a top tier player.

He outplayed hero until he let all his ghosts die. It was smart of him to run around kill the third and snipe colossus with his vikings and then run back around. However, he stopped running around and attacked with his ghosts and the rest of hero's army caught up. Also, as you know he also decided not to snipe the colossus. It seemed like either he had a mental lapse of miscontrol, or he couldn't manage two or three control groups simultaneously. Up until then everything he did was smart.

apparently he's always top5 in ladder or something similar? or so major says.

I hear a lot "so major say". People should not take what Major say as a sure fact

i think all the hype around him is pretty bogus, don't think he will make it out of his code s group, but who knows

Sad thing is that I'm one of those that believed in the hype. He's my FPL captain for this round D:

No, he didnt outplay hero at all. Not even close. Try something else dude because that map is heavily T favored against
protoss and the fact that Baby tried so many times to snipe the third nexus isnt what you call "outplaying".

Yeah, he had a chance to kill all the colossus after killing the third and running around hero's second base. His decision to kill the pylon at the second base is what allowed Hero's units to catch up.

On this map where you rarely go past 3 base, conserving your mineral supply is a good idea. Supply drop SAVES 100 minerals, as opposed to MINING 270 more with a mule.

It is not such a good idea in TvP where you need strong early-mid game. You lose 170 mineral now (little less if you consider scv building time) and gain 270 mineal when you mine out 3 bases.

no, mules don't create minerals, they just take minerals at a faster pace

I agree. The game was fairly even. Hero's storms is what balanced it out. Hero should have lost two of the three games he played. Luck was definitely in his favor today. First Jaehoons 3 zealot chasing one and then Baby forgetting which hotkey his vikings were on lol

Coulda shoulda woulda

I could have put Bobby Fischer in check 50 million times in a chess career, but if I never managed to seal the deal, no one would ultimately ever give a fuck.

Coulda shoulda woulda

I could have put Bobby Fischer in check 50 million times in a chess career, but if I never managed to seal the deal, no one would ultimately ever give a fuck.

You forgot one. Coulda shoulda woulda...but didn't!

lol baby played like total ass. wtf, when they showed his base he had like 5 supply drops. He also forgot his upgrades and never got a 4th. Meh, seemed really really shaky for a player of his caliber.

No, he didnt outplay hero at all. Not even close. Try something else dude because that map is heavily T favored against
protoss and the fact that Baby tried so many times to snipe the third nexus isnt what you call "outplaying".

Heavily terran favourite is not backed up with statistics from TLPD .

how the hell can you claim a map is OP one way or the other with three games on it? lol

TWO Terran wins compared to ONE Protoss win. Two > One. OP.

Two Terran and Two protoss after today. 2 = 2

Oh right ahhaha. In that case, the map turns mysteriously from OP to balanced

sick metagame shift!

Seeing baby use the supply drops really shows that he is still in experimentation mode and it could take much longer then we expected for the Kespa players do dominate.
