his chances of getting a non-zerg is higher than getting a zerg, however he doesnt look particularly strong in vT macro either, so either way hes probably fucked
unless he is the luckiest person in the world and gets 3 other tosses lol
edit : infact its impossible to have a 4 toss group with huk in it because of how the tier system for code S works

I'm pretty sure Sniper is just going to pick Huk since Sniper has fairly good ZvP

Baby too.

JD can't be the " last hope of kespa " anyway, he joined EG and is training at the EG house. He may be a brood war legend but he's not practicing on a kespa team, he doesn't represent them anymore.

his pvt has always been really bad imo. He's at least had some okish wins in pvz in the past but just recently i have seem him fail lots in the matchup, although he hasn't played a lot recently and has obviously improved at least a decent amount. There are 12 or 13 zergs in code S aren't there? He'll surely get at least one!

And why do you think Fantasy and Flying deserve code S, if they can't beat Huk and qualify from the easiest UD group?
Fantasy has a lot of potential, but currently he is code A level.

i say this prioritization theory is bullshit, every player will try their hardest to play their best at whatever event, pride means more than it looks, also, bo1 is terrible but acceptable as OSL is aired on TV

Yea, but time allocation matters. A player has priorities. Trying the hardest while using 10% of your time vs using 90% of your time is a big fucking difference. No one is throwing games, but it's obvious when someone isn't spending enough time preparing for something. BW quality in hybrid proleague fell down to shit because players allocated the vast majority of time to SC2, if you don't have enough time then your training regiment and the type of play you are likely to do is vastly different. Has nothing to do with "trying hard enough" or "intentionally throwing a match". This isn't a conspiracy theory.

Playing BW vs Playing SC2 is a lot different to playing in OSL/PL vs playing in GSL... lol

How is the principle different? The magnitude of effects might be different, but every bit of advantage matters in a bo1.

Because Magnitude matters? It is like saying EG TL would be 9-0 in PL if they weren't streaming for those 2 hours a night.

Yeah, they don't deserve it clearly. Fantasy will get there eventually. No need to make excuses, they don't deserve to play in Code S yet if they both lost in Code A and lost in the easiest U/D group.

It makes me really sad as a Fantasy fan but It's the truth.

I'm at loss for words... I'll admit that I never in a million years thought HuK could get to Code S in his current form, even in a group like this. I will also admit that I expected Nestea to perhaps fight for third place, not grab the first place spot.
Oh well, I'm happy for those guys. I've missed them in Code S <3

ha, i know right. Really great to see HuK and Nestea again. And what's up with the complaining? So it's ok when Proleague is bo1 but not the Up & Downs?

Did he really "join" EG? I think it's just a 1 year loan, so he's still technically a KeSPA player.

And by "last hope of KeSPA" I meant he's the only KeSPA player who still has a chance of getting through the U&D.

Finally, SPL is proved to be a low level league instead of PRO-league. As a fan of SPL for a lot of years, I would not watch this game anymore until it's proved to be the best league with best players.

I could be wrong but I think his last four PvTs have been:

BO3 Win against Ryung (IPL5)
BO3 Win against Yoda (IPL5)
BO1 Win against Fantasy (Tonight)
BO1 Win against Center (tonight)

I'd say his PvT isn't looking too bad to be honest.
I root for Euro Zergs, NA Protoss* and Korean Terrans. (Any North American who has beat a Korean Pro as Protoss counts as NA Toss)

Trust me that there's no way Jaedong will be going back to Kespa when his contract is over, they can't force him. He has more freedom on EG + is making more money on EG. If he was on a Kespa team he wouldn't be able to go to events like the HyperX tournament and win $7000 for two days of work like he did yesterday.

By then there might not even be a Kespa to go back to if Proleague and OSL don't succeed this year.
