I think all-kill format is better for seeing new guys because you can just send out a new guy in game 1 and it wont matter if he loses because if you have a guy that doesnt lose in team leagues (say DRG 2011, plus DRG was a new guy that made his appearance in GSTL) Where as in Proleague, every game is more important because you cant have your best player play in 5 games.

This is one of the rare times you hear me say variety does help. What I'd really like to see is an improved format which includes the length of the league.

SNM clearly just started watching SC2 recently and doesn't know anything about the meta game or even basic builds... and Whiplash just doesn't have the multi-matchup knowledge to carry the cast. Neither of them are able to say anything interesting about the games, they simply talk about what is happening on screen. Most like to watch SC2 to either watch something exciting/interesting, or learn something new. These casters need to learn how to speak, and simply learn more about the game. They're both providing a level of commentary that could be provided from most diamond/master league players... They're not funny. They're not exciting. They are not knowledgeable.

Do you guys even know that all-kill format is already in proleague in winnersleague round 2 / 5? people like the proleague format better because it's less about one star player and actually a team. Theres already singles leagues I don't need to see the same player dominate game after game.

I agree, but I'm not sure live-report is the right place. This thread is for increasing everyone's enjoyment of the cast, whatever it is...

In prepared matches new guys can shine if they can prep vs a well mapped out player and they dont have any public games. That's how snipers can first come blasting out of nowhere, and then end up in regular rotation. Both have merits

His problem was that he had huge canines and always salivated. I actually had to call him to make sure that SNM wasn't him the first time I heard a cast.
