Usually the winrates between KeSPA players and non-KeSPA koreans are about 50/50. RAIN (formerly By.Sun I think), has done very well. Some made it into Code A some are in Code S, But compared to the non-KeSPA players they are not really improving in the last months, so the winrates stabilized at 50 percent.

Now that we have EG-TL in PL we could get a better idea imo since most of the kepsa players stick to the kespa league. But I am convinced that a majority of the best players will be kespa players very soon. For some one who didn't follow bw to understand why we think like this about the players, think about this example: they make a new game and some of the players that couldn't handle the competition switch over. Two years later, the best sc2 players - Rain, Life, Mvp, Bogus, Hyun, Teajja etc - start playing this new game that is being dominated by Incontrol, Destiny and some "patch zerg". What would you think about the situation? From your perspective the "BW elitists" are unreasonable - and you have some results to back that claim up. But what we know about the best current sc2 players amounts to this: For me, personally, MVP is the only player that could somehow stand his ground in BW, so I respect him. But the others too I must say are better than I expected. It depends on how 'different' the game is. We don't really see WC3 pros doing as well for example. The best WC3 pros are probably Polt and Stephano but they were not really known in WC3. Of course, SC2 is more similar to BW but it still has difference. Also, you have to remember, there are a lot of rising stars that were too young to get into BW. Who knows if Creator, Life, etc would have done if SC2 wasn't made. Maybe they would be rookies of the year for 2013 PL season. Personally, I see a pretty even split between eSF, Kespa. But then again, I don't think Korean SC2 can sustain this many players. So I see a merging of some sort in about 1-2 years.

He also became much better in SC2 once he became a full time pro. So I wouldn't say he was bad in WC3, just young amateur. SO it might be a similar situation lik you mention for Creator and Life.

It is my belief however that many players from Kespa will not dominate the scene out of proleague because they are focused on their team league rather then taking tournaments for their own glory. As for Baby defeating Flash, like someone mentioned earlier Baby has been considered one of the most gifted terrans and except for maybe a few months where Flash was invincible, could beat him any given day. OSL semifinals half were eSF and 1 eSF in finals (no kespa player in GSL finals yet) MvP had like all foreigners, MC and Crank. WCS more eSF players qualify. Past 2 GSLs, 3 eSF players in final four, all eSF players in finals ![]()

Look how long it took Hyun to achieve his peak form. In another six months to a year these guys will be the best of their respective races. Some already are.

That's fine, my point was that people shouldn't expect him to dominate. I saw so many predictions earlier in this thread that were along he lines of "flash wins ez, baby has no chance." That wasn't even true in bw let alone sc2. I would say baby and flash are at a simmillar skill level in sc2 ATM. I was so surprised when i saw how one side the poll was...
