WE ARE ASHAMED EVERY TIME THIS SHIT IS BROUGHT UP." That piece of shit article have been the rallying point of every BW elitist ever, although it has been time and time again proved completely wrong. Not just partially wrong, completely and utterly wrong. How are the elephants faring recently? I'm not in touch with SC2 for the last 3-4 months...

Certainly not dominating like they were supposed to, but pulling out a few big wins at least. The Elephant hypothesis is indeed pretty much disproven at this point though.

They won't start dominating or anything but I think we'll see more in code a/s but the elephant theory is gone and was flawed to begin with.

Also kinda enjoy seeing Flash being beaten by the guy who was supost be his replacement of sorts in the BW days as elite terran. Ironic.

OSL champion - Kespa Winner Past 2 GSL's - Kespa player in the final four MvP - Kespa winner WCS - 3 Kespa players qualify into the Ro16, 1 placing in the top 3 MLG Tournament of Champions - + Show Spoiler + 3/3 for Kespa pros Pretty much, since august certain Kespa pros have merged themselves in as equals. It is my belief however that many players from Kespa will not dominate the scene out of proleague because they are focused on their team league rather then taking tournaments for their own glory. As for Baby defeating Flash, like someone mentioned earlier Baby has been considered one of the most gifted terrans and except for maybe a few months where Flash was invincible, could beat him any given day.

CJ hero and Roro lost in ro32 ( groups ) at BWC, otherwise I think you've got it right. also add soulkey gsl ro8 for good measure I guess.

But it is very hard to say how good they are. Now that we have EG-TL in PL we could get a better idea imo since most of the kepsa players stick to the kespa league. But I am convinced that a majority of the best players will be kespa players very soon. For some one who didn't follow bw to understand why we think like this about the players, think about this example: they make a new game and some of the players that couldn't handle the competition switch over. Two years later, the best sc2 players - Rain, Life, Mvp, Bogus, Hyun, Teajja etc - start playing this new game that is being dominated by Incontrol, Destiny and some "patch zerg". What would you think about the situation? From your perspective the "BW elitists" are unreasonable - and you have some results to back that claim up. But what we know about the best current sc2 players amounts to this: For me, personally, MVP is the only player that could somehow stand his ground in BW, so I respect him. But the others too I must say are better than I expected.

I am not sure I buy the not taking tournaments for your own glory part. Maybe this is true for foreign events since traveling well take a toll on your performance. Of course, we know Kespa players do focus a lot on team leagues. But individual leagues still matter. All of superstars of BW won multiple individual league titles. But I think a great player has enough time for PL, OSL, GSL.
