First group matches for the HomeStoryCup VI powered by XMG
The first players arrived in Germany today, and are already at TaKe's place, making themselfes comfortable, like it should be during the HomeStoryCup. But not every player is relaxed. And that for a good reason! Tomorrow, the HomeStoryCup VI powered by XMG will start, and the first players have to prove their skills. But we haven't told you guys, what matches are played first. And now, to finally soothe your desire for information, we will announce the first encounters from the first group stage!
First Group Matches

The first two of every group will qualify for the second group stage. The group seedings will work as listed below:
Group A 1st Place vs Group D 2nd Place
Group B 1st Place vs Group C 2nd Place
Group C 1st Place vs Group B 2nd Place
Group D 1st Place vs Group A 2nd Place

The stream will start tomorrow at 14.00 CET and shortly afterwards, the first matches will already be played after the opening ceremony. Purple: BlinG probably, won most recent i47 which is kinda near that pixel. Could be demuslim though, that dot looks more like nottingham which is demu's hometown.
Blue: HuK? ( born in florida)
Orange: Snute or TargA
Green: Elfi or naama I guess
Off-white: Lowely (only notable player from ~belarus afaik)

Hehe, nice way to do this.
Only ones I'm sure of at the moment are Bling, Snute and Stephano. Thinking that Naama is also a very likely choice.

The dot in Florida had me thinking HuK too, considering he also won the last major SC2 event in Florida (MLG Orlando 2011)
Kind of weird though as he hasn't attended the last two HomeStoryCups.
Edit: Isn't Sheth currently living in Florida? That could make sense as well.

I agree with bbm, purple should be bling. He attended the last hsc and was a really good entertainer. Other possibility could be demuslim, cause he is from the UK as well but I don't know where he is born.
I also thought about tlo, cause he won his first big tournament in Manchester, but the dot is surely not Manchester.

Stephano already confirmed in an interview that he would be at HSC VI (can't remember which interview it was though).
And if both Stephano and BlinG are going to be there... epic party incoming!

Stephano has confirmed he will be attending HSC! So I am guessing that Paris purple dot is Stephano's ESWC 2011 win!
Super stoked that Stephano will be featured this time. He has said he really wanted to go last time, but instead chose to attend WCS France, a decision which did work out well for him. However he will be able to experience this one. Stephano has done well in the last 2 Take tournaments he has participated in, winning the Take TV Reloaded Invitational and coming second in the Stim to the Win tournament. We'll see if he can keep this impressive record going in HSC VI!
Looking forward to HSC VI! Take always hosts excellent tournaments...
Considering the above, this almost confirms that the dots refer to major tournament wins. So Bling looks likely due to winning Insomnia in Telford and Huk too because he won MLG in Orlando. Also Lucifron won the Gathering that took place in Hamar, Norway, so that is the Orange dot. I am guessing the Stockholm dot is Thorzain because these dots seem to be first (or early) LAN wins, and Thorzain won Dreamhack Stockholm. I think the Red dot is St Petersburg and Brat_OK comes to mind as a Russian player who has achieved success in Russian LANS there.
