It won't be possible for a bonjwa to rise in the scene as it is now. Unless you manage to support the entire pro scene to fly around to every single tournament around, there will always be so and so won this other big tournament when one person is dominating somewhere. That doesn't matter. If someone consistently wins/places very high in top tournaments like GSL and MLG, it doesn't matter if someone else is winning some other tournament occasionally. SC1 is just such a small society that makes bonjwa possible. community like SC2 is so big that no one can dominate like SC1, not now, not ever. We will only have consistent good player, like MVP in the past years, this will be the closest thing to a bonjwa Koreans are the best in the world. More Koreans played Brood War. Foreigners don't come into the equation that much. What you say makes no sense. Actually only about 100 korean played SC1 including those trainers. You can see how many in SC2 community now. SC2 is designed to be more player friendly, less mechanics and more mind games. And i guess it works. there were at least 150+ active pros who were kespa ranked, more than 400 amateur/semipros a lot of them living in semipro houses, plus a ton more who are just like B/B+ ranked on iccup, so not "100 korean".... Really? Where are those active pro now. Are they even able to show their face in GM in KR serve. How active is that? And, 400 amateur/semipros? That's exactly what i mean small community. OMG, dont be stubborn, in Korea BW was and even now is more popular that SC2 is going to be in its whole life, (of course now there isnt pro BW), so your point is wrong and uninfomed As much as you are correct about BW before, you can't actualy predict the future and where Sc2 is going to be compared to a game that has no TV pro scene anymore. So you think that SC2 is going to pick up the korean fan Interest just like from no where? please... LoL is now the king in Korea, SC2 is a niche game in Korea, even the Kespa transition didnt change that, and you are telling me that suddenly SC2 is going to have BW popularity in its peak or even now???. I am out of this discussion, let the people comment about the final games.
I did not say that ? If i did show me where please ? All i said is you have no way of predicting on what koreans will pref in the future. Read please ty then make your silly reply.

Scheduling's been quite good. Started on time both days. Sen just played two Bo5's, so it makes sense that they give him a bit of a break.

Could we just say that any MU can be both extremely good or bad and stop arguing?

It was you who did the 2012 specification. Sen is an accomplished player and that's that. Again if it makes you feel better - an accomplished player that accomplished jackshit for an entire year. Why are you so stupid? You do realize that Sen does play in his taiwan league right? He hasn't played in any major tournaments this year that I can think of except maybe NASL (can't remember). I don't get you rhate of sen, but learn what you are talking about before spouting stupidity. P.S. Give credit also Sen outplayed Hero in game 5, no ifs ands or butts about it. He played it good and hero made mistakes and lost. Sen outplayed HerO badly that game, even if not for Sen playing well, HerO played badly. Whoranzone, regardless if Sen is a silver league player, or 17 time GSL Cose S champion. HerO played bad. Fucking admit it. I think what Whoreazone is alluding to is the idea that the games are extremely close when the relative skill gaps should be much wider. Sure sen and others win stuff in their respective communities but looked at the broader perspective. Parting and Creator, and to a slightly lesser extent hero are all top quality GSL protoss, they are best protoss have to offer, and yet they have games that are very close, 3-2, against players like vortix and suppy? Something is just weird about that. curious and to a lesser exten roro are a top quality gsl zergs as well, yet they got rolled. weird that this relative skill gap only comes into play to disguise balance whine, and shift the focus away from the amazing performances that provoked it. If you actually read my post, I didn't mention Sen. I mentioned vortix and suppy. Why is this relevant? Because Sen is the one who knocked out Curious. Curious did not get knocked out by a foreigner protoss, so your logic doesn't apply. pretty sure you mentioned sen. if you read your own post i'm pretty sure you'll agree that you mentioned sen as well. Sure...I meant in context... "they are best protoss have to offer, and yet they have games that are very close, 3-2, against players like vortix and suppy?" ^this is the relevant part. The mention of Sen is irrelevant to what I responded to.
like a fractal of idiocy.

I can only recommend it. Most of the mission design is quite fun.
And the best is playing the last mission "All in" with different tactics and cool teched up units. Like Jesus Christ does it feel great to have a huge stream of Zerg running towards 10 Siegetanks that do 100 damage to the main target and normal splash (or well, it hurts your own units less after an upgrade). Or just fill up a lot of bunkers with marines. Or run around with a mobile MM ball. Use Banshee squads to get rid of Nyduses etc.
When I was playing I was a top Master Zerg for most of the time but still I loved the challenge of playing All-In on brutal. It's just fun ;P
