 Stephano vs.  HerO --- Game 1 --- (03:45 GMT (+00:00))Liquid Hero spawned to the right on Daybreak; Stephano to the left. Hero opened with a forge fast expand, but an ultra greedy version - 15 nexus, 17 pylon, forge, gateway, and only then cannon. Stephano opened standard 3 hatch play. Hero dropped a stargate on 42 supply while putting on very effective pressure on Stephano's third - sniping a queen, some drones, and forcing a lot of lings. Hero chronoed out several phoenix, while dropping a further 3 gates and a robo. Hero's phoenix harass was pretty successful, but Stephano was able to put on devastating roach-ling pressure at Hero's would-be early third as he tried to secure it. It was cancelled. Hero eeked out a void ray and an immortal and managed to hold Stephano's roaches and lings as they pushed into Hero's natural, but in the meantime Stephano was taking his 4th base. Hero then re-dropped his third and put on some more successful phoenix harass picking up drones in Stephano's main. But it was all in vain, as Stephano pushed into Hero's third yet again in classic Stephano roach-ling style, cancelling it. Hero tried to take out Stephano's fourth with two void rays, but a spore and two queens cleaned that up while Stephano pushed into Hero's natural doing conclusive damage. Hero, down 1 base to 4, was forced to GG! Stephano goes 1-0 over HerO! | ||
