Wtb interviews pls!

Haha maybe Seeker and wozzot are burnt out by the 12 and 10 interview translations they did in one shot for the Code A preliminaries. That was pretty sickkk!!

I thought of doing them, but halfway through it I realised that their translation would be more accurate than mine for these interviews

From google trans, it appears Creator really pissed at DRG for picking him first.
And he is worried about WCS 3 zerg group, though I think he should be fine after today's showing.

Ya haha. Apparently it stimulated him to practise really hard. Google translate is actually kinda decent if you can get past the sentence structure problems.

Also Ryung thinking he has a chance to win GSL if he gets past Ro8. If he really does that it'd be so amazing

Also one of Ryung's questions is "This is your first Ro8 since 2011 GSL August...." I can tell because I'm a fan of him and know his results and can understand ".....8..... S Aug...." in a Korean interview... lol

What the hell has happened to Ryung ?

Honestly, Curious Ro16 happened.

Of course, he played really well, too - but Curious has developed quite the reputation in Ro16 by now.

Doesn't account for how badly DRG played - he has no such curse.

DRG has the curse of losing to whoever he picks though

and coming in last place in his ro16 group after that loss.

So in other words he's just as bad.

Exactly! Maybe he'll learn his lesson next season... If he even gets out of what is sure to be an extremely stacked group.

What is going on? First Bomber plays amazing at LSC and then Ryung gets out of his group after doing what no one is supposed to do (pick hard players because they're going to have to face them eventually anyway). Two of my favorite players doing awesome outta nowhere.

Damn, must be hard to be consistent. DRG makes an OSL final, trounces his competition in ro32, but plays underwhelming in ro16 0.o

But on a positive note, Ryung goes through! Seriously thought he was gonna get demolished. Never been so happy to be wrong.

Damn didn't see Ryung coming out of this group, really strong stuff. To bad though that Curious didn't make it, guess he can't break the curse yet and honestly I don't see him doing it either with all that is coming from code A

Grats to Ryung! It's awesome to see Axiom off to a great start like this. Also really glad there'll be at least one protoss in the RO8. Shaping up to be an exciting final four in Vegas.
I root for Euro Zergs, NA Protoss* and Korean Terrans. (Any North American who has beat a Korean Pro as Protoss counts as NA Toss)

Statistics, how do they work?

I will obviously take into account Korean stats. You won't take second class stat to prove a point.
I will take the last big events ( http://www.teamliquid.net/events/ ) (OSL, GSL, WCS Korea/Asia, MLG, DH Valencia, ESWC)

In Korea:
Percentage of zerg qualified WCS 25% < 33%

Percentage of zerg in the last GSL ro32 <33%
Percentage of zerg in the last GSL ro16 <33%
Percentage of zerg in the last GSL ro8 ~33% (3z 3t 2p)
Percentage of zerg in the last GSL ro4 ~33% (1z 1p 2t)

Percentage of zerg qualified for the OSL 12,5% << 33%
(12.5% in ro8 and then it is roughly 33% afterwards)

outside of korea: (it is a bit tricky since palyer are invited, there are different of skill in the players, some get lucky, other don't...)
Percentage of zerg in the top 16 of the MLG : 37.5% >33%
DH Valencia at first 2z 3t 3p at the end : top 3 terran, then next 2 protosses and the last two zerg
ESWC (there was only 1terran and 1protoss so not much to say here)

This current GSL is a bit different <33% zerg in the ro32 50%>>33% in the ro16 (enormous number the but this a isolated case).
You can add some stat that goes your way if you want but there are enough stats here to say that
And about the winner of the tournaments: korean tournament : 33%, foreign tournament 33% (a bit more if you consider formet event but like a said it depends who you invite).

So henestly instead of this constant whining, maybe you should put your mind into something more constructive.
I am not arguing about BL/infestor being or fungal growth too strong or Terran too weak but all in all, this whining on zerg (when they win they are op, when they lose their opponent was the best in the world) is annoying

outside of korea: (it is a bit tricky since palyer are invited, there are different of skill in the players, some get lucky, other don't...)

The answer he was looking for was "miracles". But I like yours better :p

Of course the third game, first set, of Ryung against Curious, didn't scream imbalance to the four winds.
