Not saying non of the fans were SCBW fans, as you can clearly see some fans have cheerfuls for the SCBW players. But i do think 60% or more of those people mostly were there to see Infi, Sky & co (not entirely sure who was playing at that time). On the CS vs SCBW issue, i have no idea which one was more popular in China. Also speaking of the crowd size in this OSL, it was more than i thought. Not too many people of course, but i feared worse. If anything i was a bit disappointed in the online viewership numbers at Twitch.tv. But their stream was fairly bad, at times nearly unwatchable. | ||

You're gonna compare dramas? Let's be honest here. How many non koreans even know of korean culture back then? Look at it now, so many non-koreans so into Korean culture. That's how BIG k-pop and their dramas have become. Obviously thanks to technology and other stuff but a video game isn't really the "thing" anymore in korea. Starcraft only happened because it was a cheap means of entertainment back then. That's why people like Boxer and Nada were celebrities with fan girls and whatnot. | ||
