Yeah, true that, MC would still be significantly ahead even without the OSL 3rd place monies that he's just earned today. Hehe ^^ That series JUST happened. Tons of people haven't watched it yet.

Not nearly as good as the Season 2 finals. Most of these games we're Life being too stubborn to make Roaches and losing Drones and Lings to Hellions.

.. and now my liquibet is all mucked up by this. . . =_='
Good win by Life though.

Game 6 where in theory should have won with BC-Ghost but loses to a freaking vortex! How often do you see a vortex v terran?! And then that epic game 7 ultra cheese. It was great.

Are you honestly suggesting Leenock is bad?

Its interesting how well it worked for Life to play ling/infestor against mech. Its it doesnt matter if you play bio or mech, while for the terran they are so different playstyles. It looks so bad when Life is throwing away 20-30 lings at a time againt blue flame hellions but his injects are so good that zerg macro allows for that. I must say I like the aggressive style of Life but i wish he would show some more respect to Mvp now that he beat him. Im thinking about Lifes comments in interviews.

That was an insane last match... all those units...
It's like a real zerg swarm!

even terran ( or mvp fans ) have to admit that the last game had nothing to do with balance, mvp played like shit, he had an advantage and he moves out with like 80% of his army which should never be done while meching and then he lost it, reinforcing as mech is at that stage of the game close to impossible and zerg can just gain the momentum to crush u (which life did). If mvp would ve played a passive game getting his 170-200 supply timings right there would be a close to zero chance (if he doesnt screw up) to lose that game
i am pissed too that mvp lost, but blaming anyone but mvp is just retarded

I am just stating obvious.lol I'm still of the opinion that Stephano is the better Zerg, but he needs to stop fucking around and play in GSL already. Stephano does very poorly vs people who have prepared extensively for him and does well in ladder-style tournaments like MLG. In the GSL you will have an entire team of people dedicated to figuring out how to abuse your style (which stephano is rooted in 100%, he is a stylist player) and how to counter it most effectively. Honestly I would not expect stephano to do well at all in the GSL, he`s simply not the kind of player who will excel in those circumstances. That being said, if all zergs would plan out their attacks like stephano does then i doubt we`d ever see a less than 90% zerg win rate in tournaments. Not that I'm saying Stephano is better, but we basically just watched a finals between Mvp (the guy who is best at planning out long series) vs. Life (the guy who doesn't seem to prepare much in terms of "style").

And he showed mental toughness by not falling apart in game 6. But lets be honest folks: MVP got greedy in game 6 and lost for it. And MVP got impatient in game 7 and traded an entire mech army for an unused hatch. Life made dumb decisions too, but his dumb decisions in game 7 were a lot less costly than MVPs.

As much as I am for the whole thing that Stephano is without a doubt Code S caliber.... just no How is Life better because he won one tournament, while Stephano has been consistently producing results for a year? The GSL bias is kinda ridiculous sometimes.
haha. Can you be a sc2 fan and not be GSL "biased". You cant compare anything stephano has won to a GSL trophy.

That's the thing though. Haven't people been studying Stephano for over a year now? And they still can't stop him? I think he's best Zerg. I can't call Life the best Zerg yet. He won tonight and got 2nd in TSL4, but other than that, he doesn't have many results. Yeah he's always been good, but doesn't have too many results.

Heh, you don't see vortex v terran because few terrans and fewer maps allow you to get mass BCs...

Leenock never won, he was never a royal roader. Also he is still definitely top 5 zerg in the world. No one ever thought that Jjakji was on to bigger and better things.

If Life pulls that arrogant shit in his winner's interview I'm going to be very disappointed

No one is saying he's the next bonjwa. He's still young and he's got a bright future ahead of him.
How come you didn't mention the other champions who did go on to do great things?
