Taeja has to win BO7, but if 2 of the first 3 games are won by First, First advances.

If Taeja beats Anyppi, then I pray to God Leenock wins against TheStC. Taeja will definitely take the finals against Leenock, but I wouldn't be nearly as confident in TvT if I were Taeja.

Viewernumbers for Dota2 Invitational tournament are allready higher then the numbers for Starcraft have ever been ~30k viewers on the stream and like 60-70k viewers watching the games live in the gameclient. Starcraft desperately needs HOTS and it better be good, otherwise the game will get overrun. sc2 has had over 100 k viewers LoL has had far more than that. And, it gets those numbers up to the present, whereas SC typically gets much less nowadays...
That's because people miss the v era.

They've been doing dumb shit like this all weekend, such as having the other 5/6th place match on the premium stream.

STC going bitbybit on Leenock

Second to last round of the tournament and they're still playing more than one series at the same time, that's a shame.

Why does that matter? Liquid won MLG.

The most hyped event ever? Biggest NA event ever? Flash, Jaedong, Fantasy, Bisu? That small event? Providence was definitely the biggest NA event ever as far as sc2 is concerned, and I don't think it will be topped any time soon. Well, i wouldn't be so certain. Once HotS is out people will be hyped again and more people know about esports than before.

I guess that's why you don't go pool first in ZvT

TAEJA NEEDS TO WIN 4 GAMES
FIRST NEEDS TO WIN 2 GAMES
-its not a bo3 x 2-
-its an extended series-
|
oh, they show the games simultaneously? That's probably because of us EU viewers. So they have the finals early.

Might wanna tell the Bulls that they have no titles. MJ retired after all.

I wonder if its worth hiding the barraks in standard play for taeja and other terrans, because later its slows down you marine production once you move it into a wall off or something else. Ahh well it works for teaja, so it's all good.

Simply need to get both new people playing the game and those that play it now to watch professionals play.

Wonder if the viewernumbers are worse also..
I was surprised to find how well your theory checks out: Number of replies for day 3 MLG threads
Here are the salient pieces of the results (number of replies):
[Day 3] MLG Summer Championships.........2,777 (in progress) [Day 3] MLG Spring Championships............7,727 [Day 3] MLG Winter Championship.............11,164 [Day 3] MLG Providence........................... 17,781 [Day 3] MLG Orlando................................. 20,173 [Day 3] MLG Raleigh..................................14,687 [Day 3] MLG Anaheim (red stream)..............15,860 [Day 3] MLG Columbus..............................28,621 [Day 3] MLG Dallas ..................................18,644
Every single MLG day 3 thread last year had more replies than every single one this year.
(assuming this one doesn't pick up rapidly)
The decline has been somewhat nonsensically precipitous. Seemingly far too large to be explained by bans or other small differences.
