SC2 still is an awesome game, but viewer count is declining. Hopefully HOTS spices things up a bit :/

They have a lot of staff members carrying out all sorts of tasks. James oversees a lot of the marketing stuff. It's important to divy up the tasks to keep the team tuned like a well-oiled machine.

Only the hardcore fans are left but every1 else has either gone to LoL, Dota2 or some other game. Viewernumbers for Dota2 Invitational tournament are allready higher then the numbers for Starcraft have ever been ~30k viewers on the stream and like 60-70k viewers watching the games live in the gameclient. Starcraft desperately needs HOTS and it better be good, otherwise the game will get overrun. The international happens once a year, we get sc2 tournamnets every weekend!!!!

Hope the games have been good so far! look what happen when u go against meta game

Ive been watching all GSL been watching less MLG. all the other tourneys like assembly asus rog etc i watch if i am free. too busy to watch it all. i agree there should be slightly less tourneys to keep it interesting. itll probably start thinning out to a couple of big guys that stick around.

The extended series rule will now go into effect only if the players have met before in the same phase of the tournament. This means that a match result in the Open Bracket or Group Play will not trigger an extended series in the Championship Bracket. As a consequence of the above two changes, extended series are not possible in the Championship Bracket except for the Semifinal matches. The part about the one from the lower brackes has to win 2 was missing, now its clear ![]()

Sc2's numbers aren't dropping, hsc5 peaked at 70k. It's just oversaturated as fuck, development like this is to be expected.

LoL has had far more than that. And, it gets those numbers up to the present, whereas SC typically gets much less nowadays...
