Your intuition is terrible. No it was not available, and no, me asking wouldn't have told me anything

If your intuition was so good why do you even need to see the bracket, since, clearly, you're psychic and know the responses of individuals by not asking at all.

Quit whining.

seriously? that`s your theory?

Not a theory. I'm at the event, and friends with Suppy. Him and team EG were shown the WCS bracket 2 hours before the event started, while everyone else didn't know their opponent until 10-15 minutes before it began. As for whining, Illusion and others were annoyed too.

EG players knew the WCS bracket/opponent at least day before event. Players were complaining about it the night before the tourney. according to sirscoots logic on twitter all you had to do was ask a official for your opponent.

I usually don't like Zerg players, but I think I'm going to become a big Scarlett fan. How crazy would it be if the North American champion was the only girl in the tournament!

Huh, Terran outlasted Protoss. Definitely did not see that coming after they all got sent to the lower bracket in two rounds.
I bear this sig to commemorate the loss of the team icon that commemorated Oversky's 2008-2009 Proleague Round 1 performance.

Don't know too much about this situation or have I read goswser's comments in this thread (besides the ones quoted on this page) but if the bold part is true then I don't see any issues.

So if you know officials of a event you're allowed to get a advantage a day early over lesser known teams/players who maybe don't have the same connections to track down a official? Doesn't seem very fair.

I'm not an EG fan but if gosewer had an issue with the bracket and admins he should have brought it up to blizzard reps. Instead he comes in here.claiming EG got an unfair advantage and that's why Idra is playing well. Which could be the case butwhen he didn't even ask to see the bracket and just assumed they wouldn't tell him his opponent he has about as much credibility as I would claiming it (none).

Crazystupid do you have any way to verify that it was yesterday? That's a much bigger deal than a couple of hours but again the onus is on the organizers, not the players

The two peoples named mentioned are from Complexity (goswser) and Quantic (Illu). It's pretty ridiculous to claim those two teams are lacking in the connections to find an official.

Non-issue made an issue by kids choking on their sour grapes.

Players were complaining on twitter about EG players in particular knowing their WCS opponent at least a day before it started. Asked scoots about it also on the day before WCS and he said that other players should have just asked a official for their opponent.

So, how exactly is goswser claiming that they got the info? Did they go and ask the admins who they were playing, or did the admins come to them? If they went and asked admins, well then anyone couldve done the same. If you did the same and admins didn't tell you, that's hardly EGs fault. Blame the inconsistant admins. Or did admins approach them to tell them who they were playing? if so, hardly EGs fault.

If anyone is to blame it's MLG, I doubt EG bribed the admins to get super secret bracket info. People who try to pin this on EG are nothing but butthurt people with an agenda (goswser)
