I thought winning nationals only brings you to continental championship and gives you chance to qualify for global finals :/ 8 of the nationals had a direct seed to the global finals (the Korean one will be awarded in a few hours)...but the national winners are allowed to play the continentals for the prize money.

The top 7 other players of the Continentals also qualify for the Globals. Oh ty I understood, but still find it stupid for them to be allowed to chase money like that.

Then you might have people throwing the finals of the National championships to have a shot at the much larger prize pool of the continental championships.

I would find it stupid if the Canadian Champion and the USA Champion weren't allowed to try to be the North American Champion as well. They have every right (if not more-so) to be there as anyone else.

if Vibe wins WCS NA it will increase his earnings from $13970 to $37970 (x2.72 his current career total) This would be a major haul for either one

So you think Vibe and Scarlett should be denied the chance of making money because they were too good at a previous event? Then you must also hate that Code S players can stay in Code S and don't have to requalify.
