Only since the end of the last proleague season.

I love these strawmen. No, that is not what the article said.

But Kespa players doing well, can't we just be happy this But wasnt he refering to the play back then? which was definelty sub par from what it is now, and also the Kespa players never got a full NO BW straighting into sc2 practice style, they've been balancing it, no matter how little it may be, it still counts there are quite a few adjustments u need to keep on doing and keep both meta games and build order varitions and different positional orders all in their head. Also the b-teamers/practice partners are FUCKEN GOOD no one diss on them! u have no idea how hard it is to get to that position, which also shows how strong the A-team players are

And of course there's zero moderation on that topic because it's actually supported -_- Well, time to back out of these threads then. Yes... It IS pathetic and it IS not moderated. I was waiting for the moment when someone would see that as well. The elephant war is even more sad than the balance war. A bunch of butthurts that are no "e-sports originals" because they did not play/watch BW and a bunch of other butthurts whose favourite game just died. All flaming each other. The sad thing is the SCII guys with <500 posts are to be expected. Seing some guys, starcraft connoisseurs with 8k posts saying "some people are going to lose their jobs soon" and flame baiting is beyond me. And the lack of moderation is astonishing.
Yeh that whole affair... it's really sad.
For example there are a lot people like me, who actually appreciate more, very good players, coming into the Sc2 scene. But, thanks to threads like that "Elephant in the room" and the "elite-perspective" I feel now compelled to hope most KeSPA players lose just so that this thing doesn't get any bigger. When I see someone telling me that I'm basically an inferior human being because I watch a supposedly shitty game instead of the great BW and that KeSPA players are going to destroy the scene ez-pz... well how the fuck am I not supposed to be annoyed by that.
I thank all those BW followers that actually don't partake in that elitist behavior.
In the end of the day I just want to enjoy and talk about great matches and players, not about pathetic superiority.

I am relatively certain we were getting reports of some teams practising SC2 before that.

Love it how people are surprised at Kespa players winning.
You're talking about players who've played a more mechanically demanding game for years longer than SC2's existence. Once they come over fulltime just wait and you'll see some micro.

Lol, oh please. I'm pretty sure every kespa team started practicing sc2 the moment they didn't have any chance to make the playoffs/finals of the previous proleague. This would also explain why KT and SKT T1 had such a rough start and are only now slowly starting to make a comeback.
