IMO I do not think it is a good idea for Terran to play passive vs Protoss. It is like you throw away your mid game advantage and go into a late game without an advantage.

It is like playing passive vs Zerg and letting them macro up.

I cant recall Thorzain moving over the middle line once except during the normal medievac + stim timing. He could probably use to challenge the enemys multitasking a bit, be it with banshees, cloak ghosts, drops or just random runbys. He didnt seem to have a plan on how to end the game other than hoping for Hasu to overcommit to an attack into a well defended position.

Eh, Thorzain's winrate the past 2 months is under 50%.

Of course someone given a free seed is going to lose to people that were actually good enough to qualify.

Vikings got stormed to death pretty easily when they were out in the open. Ghosts and Reapers are cute, but didn't do much against the Stalker-heavy army of Hasu. Battlecruisers were just Feedback-fodder.

wow didn't expected it to go that well for Hasu, but warcraft 3 players are good with spells and if you clump some air units for them they gladly take this. And in my opinion not enough damage vs armored units out from thorzain, hasu didn't abused it though, but with the vikings gone, the colossus could do too much damage to the army and there was not alot that could have killed stalkers fast, except the few marauders. But i loved the lategame sentries for guardian shield.
