Here let me shut your mouth

Europe's number 1 player > current code S semifinalist (MC)

MC demolished him at redbull. one series means nothing

Kinda late but right back at you.
One series at Redbull means nothing.
Problem?

Your logic is flawed. He's saying one series is irrelevant, you're saying one series is irrelevant. Why would he have a 'problem' if you're arguing the same point as he is?

Why do people like you even bother?

Typical Stephano fan blaming his drinking for his losses. He just sucks at ZvZ and even admitted it.

I hope so, but I doubt it. Stephano, Mana and Nerchio have all won premier events as well. But what puts them over is that they are foreigners and that they can draw more viewers. I'm personally a big Alicia fan, but Alicia fans are scarce.

Alicia has shown very strong consistent performances in foreign tournaments, which is great for him. But he hasn't won a premier event, and he is unlikely to draw the huge viewership numbers that the GSL wants.

while sad... i think you speak the truth T_T

oh wells, i like all of them so seeing any of them in code s would be really sick anyway (from my pov)

Anyone know the name of that song they played after the finals? The lyrics go something like "you, you don't know me".

Much appreciated

Man I still feel like MC vs Stephano should have been the real finals T___T

Would have been awesome to have a rematch or something, but this is how the tournament format was set, so there you have it! Congrats Stephano ^^ but grr I'm a mild Stephano anti-fan keke. Nice to see MC 4-0. Bosstoss~

Poor MC, basically the lot decided whether he or Alicia finishes 2nd...
Anyways, I am kind of sad that I had to miss the finals, but I wouldn't have enjoyed that kind of roflstomp anyways.

Why are you complaining? Both the semis and grand finale were Bo7. What more do you want?

Calm down yo, it was a great tournament by all measures and doesn't leave anything to be desired

Another way to put it would be: I wish MC and Stephano could have met in the finals i.e. could have been on opposite sides of the "draw". The rematch comment was facetious. Maybe it's because the LR thread was filled with all sorts of vitriol but I assure you I mean nothing bad ^_~

Edit: I just assumed it was filled with rage and bad posting but I went back to make sure it wasn't actually a great thread in terms of posting and unfortunately was disappointed. Also I will never fail to cringe when people say Nadal and Djokovic are very emotional but leave out Federer almost as if they're trying to make a point. All champions are emotional after winning (yes, even Bjorn Borg)! Though tennis especially is a sport for which the arguing will probably never end. People pick on the silliest things.

Couldn't check earlier, but Wow Stephano... I thought he could very well win, but 4 - 0 Alicia ? That's pretty insane !

Looking at his past 3 matches, I feel his ZvP dominance came back...

For those who watched, how did it feel regarding this ? Typical Stephano's style, or something else.. ?

It was pretty standard stephano style with alicia making a few mistakes and missplacing a few ff's allowing stephano to just kill exactly what he needed to

You know someone is a great player and one of the absolute best when you find out he won the whole tournament and you arent surprised at all. Stephano is the only foreigner who has that stigma around himself where you think "yea he can beat the very best koreans". No other foreigner gives you that confidence.

The bracket was decided by seeding. Alicia won his division, MC came in 2nd. Puzzle, who was the top seed, underperformed, while Stephano, who came in 2nd in his division, had a great weekend.

Yup, I'm well aware of that (sort of, didn't catch some of Day 1 games). Thanks though, didn't understand completely how the draw worked!!
