mm. there's an argument but I'm not aware of the history.

Hope there can be some sick PvP games in the finals instead.

Will the Code S finals be shown on the free low quality stream? Or is it only available for subscribers?

Statistically (from big majority of polls on TL) PvP was found as one of the most boring match-up. A collection of opinions is no more a fact than a single opinion And that collection of opinion is what determines is most entertaining. PvP is least entertaining because it entertains the least amount of people. No it fucking doesn't. It represents what is most entertaining to the sample of people who took that poll. It's like saying that Tony Blair was elected with a landslide victory, therefore he is factually a really good Prime Minister. You can't measure what is factually entertaining, it is subjective.
It doesn't even represent what is most entertaining - it simply represents that the selection of people who chose to took the poll (I didn't) were excited about a PvP matchup. TBH any matchup (except maybe ZvZ right now, due to the supposed "imbalances" of Zerg) would have a pretty high positive score on that poll.

Nop there always is a low qual stream for every code s game. Only some code a games are only for subscribers.

His Ro32 wasn't special (Ganzi and Sniper I think? Or some other semi-random zerg) but he took out Squirtle, MKP, Taeja, and DRG. Yea I'm wondering if that justifies his Ro32 though, it's a toss up. would like a comparison.

The finals will be just as good as the last few finals as long as all the games aren't turtle up to max Colossus battles.
Or...
People have seen it, they've watched it and understand it....And still find the matchup incredibly boring :S

People is always having different opinions about this but that we can even say that a foreigner might be the best player in the world in his race is really cool. I also think Stephano makes the best argument as of now, it is him or DRG.
Symbol looks very strong but have to few achievements to be called the best Zerg, Nestea have the achievements but have been lacking in performances for to long period to take that title as of now. No. Until Stephano competes in the toughest tournament in the world he will only be able to be one of the best zergs. Unless he never loses another tournament anyways Well I do not agree with that, it is only true in a world completely dominated by Koreans which is turning out to be less and less true in 2012. GSL is the biggest tournament and it matters a lot, but to say it it the only tournament that matters in the debate of who is the best SC2 player is Korean biased. Some people might simply do not want to live in Korea for extend periods and practice for GSL. The fact that you have to live in Korea in order to compete in GSL will ensure that GSL always will be dominated by Koreans. Thus will this logic ensure that Koreans by definition always will be dominating each race. With more and more Koreans flying out to tournaments all over the globe, with the amount of international tournaments and with smaller gap between foreign and Korean this point of view is becoming increasingly obsolete.
I will also add that KESPA tournaments will also lessen the importance of GSL, because at the very least they will compete with GSL in prestige, popularity and probably prize money.

Really ? Entertainment is a subjective thing. In order to find the most entertaining match-up (a match-up which is liked by the most of the sc2 community) you need a high sample size. In this case, one opinion is almost worthless, however 50000 opinions is not.

MC should take hte finals pretty easily 4-1.

Forgot about the Group of Death, but I think Mvp's path was harder in his 3rd championship, except maybe the finals itself (but we are talking about the path to the finals here). I'm saying this even as a huge MC fan.

True, very, very true, I think the format has something to do with it also. Having time to prepare for the matches leads to better games.

It could be. Although his Ro32 group was pretty easy IIRC.

Fucking. Sad. I wonder what was up with him today, nerves? Illness? Over-tired? Or none? Mc's just better at the moment? Anyone with a brain could see DRG wasn't playing 100%, still got capalised on by MC who looked very strong, but the games weren't even competitive. You think he's THAT much better than DRG, a player who has had absolutely rock solid ZvP and is probably the best player in the world? DRG was off it. But no one has analysed what he did wrong. It's just "He didn't play well" which is so vague. They should be pointing out the mistakes he made but the casters are not able to. Game 1: suicided an army trying to trade with mc's, doesn't target colossi properly. +1 corruptors end up being a huge waste of money Game 2: expands too slowly, donates roaches for free while MC takes no damage. Game 3: doesn't macro well enough to hold mc's 2base timing Happy now? Game 1: Agreed. He really fucked up with the corruptors Game 2: He may have expanded slowly, but there is merit to MC's defense. He barely lost any units, I think he lost 2 units while defending, 2 fucking units. Game 3: He was macroing fine, and he defended the main correctly, the mistake was actually letting MC rape the undefended third. The WP play was actually done, MC just seemed to casually notice that the 3rd wasn't defended at all and decided to end the game.

That said DRG's play was particularly poor. I was worried last week in his vs Naniwa, but he mentioned in the interview that the builds threw him off which is why it looked closer than I expected I thought. But DRG hasn't looked good vP in a very recent number of games. Odd, but perhaps he's struggling with the MU more than he knows. Either way, not taking it away from MC or Naniwa previously. DRG played poor, but he's still probably the best player in the world. Maybe it is a practice partner match up problem. MVP has some protoss but comparing them to the ST protoss or MC they fall way behind. He can maybe hold all pushes from other protoss but MC is a different beast with his control. Even so though today was very lack luster play from DRG. So happy about MC making it to the finals. MC even has no teammates to practise with. But MC said a while ago that he practises a lot with Symbol.
