His TvP is that good? I doubt it. I'll be rooting BIG TIME for Seed though. I don't want another Terran in the finals. I saw what happened last season. What, that we had the best GSL finals ever? Yeah wouldn't want a repeat of that :p And yes his TvP is stellar, it's basically the reason he got to the ro8 in the first place. He 2-0'd hero, and then 2-1'd Seed in his ro32 group. Then he beat Genius 2-1 in his ro16 group as well. Last season the only hope protoss had about winning a GSL they had not won for 14 months disappeared with the last terran hope. And it was really not the best GSL finals at all. One match was outstanding but those Mvp all-ins were not really attractive at all. So no I wouldn't want a repeat of that at all. singular all in

Terran is the most versatile race so they have tools they can use to attain victory even when the metagame is against them. When Protoss or Zerg isn't doing well, you see them all out by the Ro8, with only 1-2 players in the Ro16. When Terran isn't doing well (or, at least, when you see heavy Terran balance whining), you still see them in the semis/winning GSLs. Or maybe, you know, it's because NesTea simply played bad. His A-move strategy on the last game into a maxed out siege line perfectly positioned with even a bunker or two is equivalent to someone scouting a 4-gate while executing a 1-rax expand and not building any bunkers. Nestea had no reason AT ALL to attack into that, he had been given a golden ticket to win in that game. He was maxed out, terran was isolated and sieged up defending. He could have taken the bottom right part of the map and built his bank up. Use up supply by harassing with mutalisks, maybe do baneling drops to hurt econ, just defend a bit and tech up. He had like 10000 different options that would be safe and almost guarentee a win but he choose to attack into a siege line and when it went bad he didn't back off to at least try to salvage the attack, he pushed ahead. It was the only that byun could have hoped for to allow him to get back into the game. Nestea threw that game soooooooooo hard. Nestea has been in a habit of doing that lately. Remember his loss vs Huk? It feels like Nestea gets very impatient in his games. I think he just wants easy quick wins compared to long hard played games. Maybe his stamina isn't what it used to be? Wrist problems perhaps? he said after his groups hes having trouble concentrating into the late game, so he was probably hoping to end it early sice Byun was turtling for a late game
