He's obviously representing his sponsors. Maybe if they were Korean only brand. If you get a international sponsor you at least make an effort before an international audience. Else it looks like you're there only for the money. he's hired to play sc2, not an entertainer to amuse you. This mindset is why NA aren't catching up. too caught up with the "image" instead of improving. I agree he could use some media training, but his true job should be good at the game instead of being a caster. That's what people like artosis and day9 exists for Someone obviously doesn't pay attention to the BW scene in Korea. I do, even though what you said is extremely irrelevant. You might as well tell me "someone obviously doesn't pay attention to the MMA scene in Asia". sc2 != broodwar. you don't have a central organization like kespa that enforces "media training" and image building for top pros, and even then no amount of training is going to help some pros who are just shy in nature (pretty much most hardcore gaming nerds) I rather MVP stay good if it means not needing to amuse you with piss poor English and crazy antics. He can be awkward, shy, or whatever, as long as he can professionally do his job and has results to show for it. Also shyness is probably most us nerds can relate to, why is it so surprising that the best gaming nerd is shy infront of people? Why can't he speak english and dominate? Plenty of other players seem totally capable. 3 of the most famous SC2 koreans worldwide are DRG, MKP, and MC. I wonder why? Being personable is investing in his future in the scene. It isn't simply to entertain us, it's to ensure he is still a major figure down the road. I'm not saying that the idiots who say "texting while casting is disrespectful" are right, but I am saying a little effort on Mvps part will go a LONG way. You know who's probably more famous than all 3? MVP. He doesn't talk much, and even on GSL OtR he seems more conserved than others. And as long as he still delivers trophies and racks up insane amounts of money, I don't think anybody can tell him that he needs to be more "personable". The results really just speak for themselves. Lol, MVP is nowhere near as popular as DRG, MKP and MC are. Sorry...I beg to differ The sad thing is you can't even prove something like that Then you are either: Arguing for the sake of arguing A blind fanboy A troll or A combination of the three. In which case you are not worth having an intelligent conversation with because you will fail to see reason.

I'm talking about those foreign tournaments (MLGs, IEMs, DHs etc) where guys like MC, MKP and DRG have made a big name for themselves. They're the guys who have broken the Korean curse and are beloved for not only their brilliant play but also their personalities.
