PvP can never be a great matchup while warp gates and colossi exist.
TvZ is bad now, I agree, which leaves TvT as the last good matchup in the game.

TvT is good probably my second fav. But I hate the stalemate it sometimes falls into w/ siege lines. PvP is non stop action plus you dont always see colossi - again watch that game.

How is PvZ any different from that? I could predict 9 out of 10 games with FFE for the Brotoss and fast 3rd @4-5 mins for the Zerg... First mentionable action happens past the 10 min mark most of the times.
Problem is the missing variety of maps... Maps are too huge and have an too easy accessible 3rd in most cases... They just favor these kind of macro games too much IMO.
Sure I love SC as well, but I'm just fed up with having to watch this much ZvP, ZvZ and PvP lately... Miss TvT which is the most exciting and diverse mirror MU to me :/ TvZ also got ruined which was so exciting to watch and I've never been a huge fan of TvP metagame

PvZ is very much differnt in that Protoss can actually force speed and roaches without being allin and has units that can survive queens so you see a lot of successful 2 base all ins and even 1 base pressue. They also can slow down zerg with pylon blocks and cannon threats. Have very good air options in phoenix/VR harrass as well as gain map control. Protoss that lose to a 12-14 min roach max do what you suggest and just turtle for 3 nexus. Protoss that do that are overwhelmed by larva mechanic just like terran is today.

PvZ may have a bit of variety, but 90% of the time it's incredibly boring. the PvZ's this HSC have been appauling. I guess not everyone can be AcE and entertain us with sick multi tasking everywhere :D

Yeah AcE's warpprism usage is just awesome to watch and one of the (sadly!) few Protoss players able to equal some Terrans in regards of multitasking!
