I can't see anyone beating DRG this season unless its a Nestea DRG Final.. DRG is unbelievable even with zerg being OP hes still a notch better than basically everyone.

If Terran continue to suffer for 6 more months, I consider it legidimate. When Terran finally understands how Zerg felt in those times, then Zerg can reach out to Terran. Until then... We should also give a Protoss a year of advantage in PvZ to equal 2011.

I don't think it was as bad as you say at release, Zerg did win the first two GSL open seasons.

Tell that to protoss. Currently, GSL standings are : 5 GSL titles won by Zerg 7 GSL titles won by Terran 2 GSL titles won by Protoss And yet i could name far more Terran Code S players than Zerg Code S players... There were less zerg in the GSL, but the ratio number of player/title won isn't looking bad, right ? Protoss, though....

Mm, sure... but I would be remiss to not point out that (like I've probably said during a few times when terrans were dominating), Fruitdealer in GSL 1, and Nestea in GSL 2... were simply better than all their opponents. Fruitdealer SHOULD have lost to TOP, but after he came through that by some miracle, well, he was much better than Rainbow, that's for sure (not a diss to rainbow, just that rainbow was kind of a surprise to have even made it that far). Nestea vs MarineKing was a pretty damn close final between two good players, with Nestea having far more experience than Marineking who was pretty green still then. So yeah, it probably was really that bad honestly - you had close spawn metal and shakuras, you could get bunker or pylon blocked by 2 bunkers on every map..... It was pretty sad lol, zergs probably won mostly because not many people actually knew how to play a normal game since they spent 90% of their time cheesing.

I guess its hard to really analyze the game at that rather sad, cheesy and infant state. I'll concede here since I honestly can't come close to recounting those matches as well as that from nearly two years ago. I do think MarineKing was pretty much even skill-wise at the time, but I can't complain about him getting second in that case. I do think Zerg results overall has been pretty good for their representation though.

Btw, off topic, I think you are awesome Jinro. No matter what other "protoss" people say.

I do think Zerg results overall has been pretty good for their representation though. Given that 3 of the Zerg GSLs were won by 1 person, 4 of the Terran GSLs by one person and both of the Protoss GSLs were by one person, I don't think balance has really changed the representation of wins of Code S. I think everyone would agree that Fruitdealer, Nestea and DRG all deserved their championships. Likewise, MVP was certainly deserving of all of his and only the staunchest of haters will deny that MC deserved his too. As for the Terran one-hit-wonder Championships Polt and Jjakji, that is arguable. I think Jjakji got his purely because he was very lucky with the format - he played Oz in the semifinals instead of fucking MVP in a TvT. He still deserved it, but I definitely wouldn't put it down to race balance. As for the Super Championship... I have no idea.
