Quite balance except in the representatives. If the 2 T were MKP and MVP or something, I say it's decent. But Byun and Taeja? Hmm I have some doubts of the progession especially when you notice the Zerg line up consisted of the 3 kings. Protoss got 3 powerful players as well (actually I'm not too familiar with seed). So you could say I'm at doubt at their progression.

doesn't matter when its almost a year soon that he got his last title.
You can't live off old glory forever. He said he always felt Nestea was overated. And really, non-stop consecutive GSL seasons isn't something to smirk at either. These are the best players in the world, and to be able to consistently contend with them already makes him worthy of his praise. If anything, I'd say to much focus goes on only the winners leaving everyone else behind. This is the pinnacle of the SC2, pretty much all of these players have already proved there worth.

Haha. wow. Terran imba!!! :p
Reading these LR threads the last few days, you'd think it was 95% Zerg.

Greedy gets gone. Pigs get fat hogs get slaughterd. Yeah, greedy zergs can be so easily punished these days, it's not even funny. So are you saying it wasn't dumb to go CC first two games in a row? I didn't overtly mind the days of GomTvTvTvT, but seeing snipes like yours against fellow posters makes me glad Terrans are actually not dominating anymore. Cry more.
I'm not saying it wasn't dumb. I was specificly replying to some sort of "Greedy Terran Hate", while the current state of the game tends to show Terrans that either go 11/11, or go greedy against Zerg to catch up the 5 min 3 hatch uncontested.
Don't take my words for what they aren't. I'd appreciate that both race can go either greedy or standard, and that going greedy implies related risks. Currently, it's not even.
Still, i'm enjoying the match up, and about GomTvT, though it makes me a bit sad that there wasn't a good balance between race, nothing convinced me yet that it was due to "imbalance", and not because of some sort of skill difference between players...
To illustrate, a perfectly balanced game would have 1/3 of good players picking Zerg, 1/3 picking Terrans, 1/3 picking Protoss, and every steps of the tournament would have an equal representation of each race.
I don't believe it. Just the fact that there was a lot more terrans than the other races plays a lot in this...
Attention, i'm not pretending IT IS true. Just, i'm not convinced.
The last GSL were promising though, with different situations as listed above, but was it due to nerfs/up that helped players a bit less skilled ? Was it due to these players increasing skill ? I can't say for sure.

Well, who cares if Terran is suffering for 2 months after patch. Zerg suffered waaaay longer when the game came out. Game was new? Doesn't matter. If Terran continue to suffer for 6 more months, I consider it legidimate. When Terran finally understands how Zerg felt in those times, then Zerg can reach out to Terran. Until then...

I can do whatever I want and still win. That’s all I have to say. It's sad cuz it's true Koreans like to be cocky before facing foreigners. Genius didn't learn his lesson, and as big of DRG fan as I might be, I hope that Nani is gonna teach him one too Then again, DRG is arguably a notch better than Genius, and there's less chance of an "upset" in ro8 than ro16. I hope you're right, but serioudly doubt it. Might be an intersting serie overall. I would like to see some very good action, whoever advances..
Indeed. Worst come to worst, NaNi is still in Code S next season and have any been defeated by the most recent champions.

Yep, loosing to MVP and (well, not yet, though quite inevitable) by DRG isn't quite shameful right !
^The burden is on DRG shoulders. I think he has way more pressure since Naniwa's granted next season Code S spot gives him 3 code S season presence with only 1 seed, something few foreigners could achieve...

I think if anyone wins this that is not a Z, it would be ByuN, but to beat those 3 zergs in a row, in a bo5, bo5, bo7 no less... just seems too improbable.
