That's probably been the high point of this season of Proleague so far. I think from a drama standpoint they should just trot out the big names for Ace matches if their SC2 isn't too abysmal.

Easy to say what they should do, not easy to put yourself in their seat. It's always been like that, not just in Proleague. It's also easy to be wrong. I'd say people are wrong more often than they are right, but usually people don't say these things when they watch GLS because there is just the implicit credibility of being in the GSL. But people are just more vocal when watching PL and are so strong so often. The thing is its incredibly easy to be right as spectator in sc2, there is close to 0 information hidden. If you are master + and you watch "your" MU. You can almost always deduce optimal play/sub optimal play. Im not saying that makes even close to being as good as them but thats the difference beetwen playing and watching. There was never a game without a mistake in both BW and SC2, but its incredibly easy to point out mistake in SC2. Glance at production tab, glance at resource tab, see overlord finish timing, say: XXX supply blocked. BAM mistake. I can say without any exaggeration that Jangbi's build from last night was a horrible choice and nobody should use it in that situation. It has been completely phased out of viability with the rise of the proper 3 hatch roach/ling build and it is only effective against some 2 base plays by zerg that never happen anymore at professional levels.
Yes, some comments are really critical and are based on information the players didn't have, but overall a lot of the criticism is justified and the players do have a long way to go. There is a lot of play in Proleague so far for SC2 that simply looks like mid-tier NA masters league play. Odds are some of these players are simply not practicing enough or against the best players on their team, as the teams tend to have a huge variance between extremely good SC2 play and really poor play.

No one know where to find HD 720p VODs that cast through " Paste link in VLC for OGN SC2 HD stream: http://hd.ognp2p.gscdn.com/ognhdlive" I'd recommend vods of a restream like sayle's or bobo's. I have some vods of casts over the last week as well, not including tonight (I cast with bobo).

Preparing for the previous pl final+ winning it+ hawaii holiday = bad sc2 performance for SKT1.
No further explanation needed imo.

could someone please explain to me the different rounds (round 1, 2 and 3) in proleague? i don't understand their purpose or if there's a reward for having the best record following a particular round.

There's multiple rounds so there are more matches for the fans to watch, at the end of the " regular season " when all the rounds end the top 4 teams advance to the playoffs. Teams 3 and 4 play then the winner of that vs 2 and the 1st place of the regular season is seeded directly into the grand finals.

So is there a week or two break between rounds? I don't see the purpose of defining the different rounds. It's just one long regular season and top 4 advance. This is the equivalent of baseball saying all games before the allstar break are in round 1 and all games after in round 2. The rounds really mean nothing all that matters is the standings at the end.

Every 1 round, the teams play each other once. 3 rounds = each team plays the other teams 3 times. That's it.

It's because each team plays every other team once in a round, so when that rotation finishes they call that one round and it resets and they play every other team again. It's a distinction just for the sake of it from what I understand, no real meaning behind it.
ninja'd so hard...
