Nestea is nowhere near as good as those two vs P

I'd say
Stephano DRG vs toss
Leenock DRG vs terran
Nestea DRG vs zerg

DRG obviously being the best zerg :p viOlet being a third in both ZvP and ZvZ or something.

honestly players like seal, symbol, and curious are better than Stephano in every matchup.

Tournaments like this are so much different than GSL because no one is preparing for Stephano.

I really think he competed in the GSL he would be demolished down to Code B almost immediately.

Making comments like that is pretty ignorant. Until Stephano plays in GSL you wont know if these results will translate over. He is VERY good. I'm not even a huge Stephano fan but anyone saying otherwise is lying to themselves.

Then shouldn't he actually play in the GSL? Whats stopping him. What was the last thing big tourney Stephano won?

From what I know he is going to go to Korea soonish so Id assume he will join it with a code S seed. Also he is playing for money so avoiding it has been in his best interest since he can play more tournies outside of it.

We thank you for your nuanced "honest" opinion. I will let GomTV know that you already know the result if Stephano is offered a Code S spot so they don't waste our time.

Judging by your last few posts, its pretty clear you're an upset Stephano fan.

The guy is welcome to his own opinion. We don't need your smart ass remarks.

Or he is tired of trolling Stephano.

I think its both. If the two korean players are Smix's height, they're pretty short, and I'm pretty sure Wheat is a decent height himself, maybe 5'10" or 6'

Am I too scandinavian for saying 6' is not really tall at all? I'm 6'6" and tons of friends (and my brother) are still taller than me

you are TALL. 6'0 is already taller than average

6'0" is quite common where I am from but someone being 6'6" and having "tons" of friends taller than him seems hard to believe

He hangs out in Valhalla a lot.

Also Scandinavian - norwegian, almost 6 feet (1.82m) is the average for a 20-29 male here. South Korea is almost 10cm below (4 inches). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_height

The funny thing is you really could honestly consider Stephano as one of the top zergs in the world, if not the top. Since 2012, according to his TLPD, he has won 71% of his games. He's lost to MMA, Nestea, MC (won once, lost twice), Violet (won once, lost once), Life, Jjakji, Hero, Symbol, and Polt (who he trades games with). Yes, that's a lot, but almost every single player there has been Code S Ro8, with the exception of Life, who beat him at Iron Squid, and Violet, who hasn't done GSL lately but I think anybody could agree that the guy is damn good. He also lost to symbol, but he was kind of hung over

On the other hand, he has beat Ganzi (Code S), Ryung (Code S), MC (Code S) at MLG, Curious (Code S), Violet (MLG champion), Parting (Code S), Bomber (Who can be code S), trades regularly with Polt (Who barely missed Code S), and JYP (tied for 3rd in his UnD).

I probably missed somebody, but pretty much every single person who beat Stephano has been a code S champion. With the exception of Life (No idea what happened), Symbol (hungover) and Violet (hungover) XD. The guy is pretty good, I think most people would agree that he could be code S caliber, and definitely code A caliber.

Edit: Yes he isn't the top, didn't mean to imply that. But not many zergs have better results.

The better question is, what was the last big tourney other NA/EU players finished better than Stephano in?

The discussion is on how people think Stephano would fair in Code S. How other foreigners have been performing is irrelevant to that.

That would be a good question if GSL was only played by NA/EU players. Hint: It isn't. Stephano will get crushed.

The only foreigners who could compete are Thorzain and Naniwa.

How can people not like MC? Such an awesome personality and once again proves he can macro like a boss!

His personality is awesome - no doubt about that. For me, it's his playstyle that makes me not like him so much. He is a very skilled player, but none of his games seems to have the kind of back & forth action that makes SC exiting.
A large portion of his wins come from all-ins, or at the very least games where there is only 1 fight that MC wins because of great control and then proceeds to win the game.

I don't dislike him at all - I believe a player should play to his strengths which MC clearly does. It's just that his strength produces games that I don't find entertaining.

I used to think this as well, but I think hes been playing a lot more long term games lately just from what I've seen. Sometimes he mixes in the occasional 2 base push/mass forcefield, but every good player mixes up their builds.
