Seems about right. Would like to see closer games between the foreigners/the dimaga-darkforce game... but it is what it is.

I think the Koreans will just sweep today though, Nony's not at top level, Ryung is super gosu vT, and Hero has been training up his PvT.

And before IPL4 no one would have thought Illusion would beat Ryung either...
Ryung is clearly the favorite but its not out of the realm of possibility that he'll lose to DeMusliM.
if nony has good internet he has a shot, if he has bad lag again, then he will lose 2-0. Hero vs Sjow comes down to latency, if there is no lag hero wins 2-0, with lag sjow has a shot. Ryung should beat demulslim but it is not cut and dried, and lag could have an effect. And Darkforce Dimaga is going to be zvz, so it could go either way, but i think dimaga is playing better right now.
I don't know where people are getting all this confidence in Nony. He beat DF, that is it.
Ryung 2-0 Demuslim. Ryung is easily the better player in TvT CrazymoviNG 2-0 Nony. Unless Tyler has some crazy Muta defense, he won't stand a chance Hero 2-0 SjoW. Much like what he just did in GSL to the much better Supernova DF 1-2 Dimaga. This one could swing either way.
CrazyMoviNG been struggling in NASL, hopefully he picks it up this week
I can see Demuslim beating Ryung I hvaent been impressed by Ryung for a long time.
Hero: 2-0 (hero is a god among men) Ryung: 2-0 (sorry demuslim, ryungs a TvT beast) Nony: 2-1 (barring internet woes) Dima: 2-1 (I'll be happy either way, my favorite European Zerg vs a very strong european zerg) Cloud: 2-1 (out of respect for his vlog )
Nice, Cloud vs. Stephano tonight. :D
HerO 2-0 Sjow - HerO is solid in PvT, and he was practicing it for GSL Ryung 2-1 Demuslim - Ryung is solid in TvT, but Demuslim is solid in NASL; an upset is able to happen CrazyMoving 2-0 NonY - props to NonY for his resurgence but he said in SOTG that he's busy atm and isn't practicing a lot; CrazyMoving loves to exploit holes in Protoss's play Darkforce 2-1 Dimaga - Dimaga has been doing poorly in ZvZ in his last matches in it; DarkForce has a 50% win rate - it's a coin-flip Stephano 2-0 Cloud - Stephano is going to roll Cloud, I'm sorry, he's 3-0 vs. Kas, 3-1 vs. Lucifron, and 2-0 vs. Morrow in practice games; Cloud is able to take a game, but Stephano is better in this match up than Cloud is
realllly hope crazymoving loses to nony.
time to learn some new builds now? : )
Liquid day! HerO should easily be able to crush Sjow. I like the chances of Nony to claim a win today too! His internet seems fine, currently being awesome on SotG.
Here we go:D Some really nice matches today
Can't wait to see some Ryung TvT.
Wow that was a really early gg from SjoW.
Whoa sick NASL had a live replay (re-showing something important that happened a few seconds ago). Props to NASL.
Wow!
I missed the engi bay dying as i tabbed to skype, then i hear rotti say "Thats one way to kill it without losing a single thing"
I try to think about how he could of done it and then i see this instant replay of it dying during the game,
that was sick as fuck, im really liking nasl this time round
HerO's macro is suffering a bit this match. Sjow is ahead in unit count the entire game.
Wow Hero losing almost his entire force there. Pretty sloppy for his standards
Man, feel so sorry for Sjow
lol, that last fight was so fucking stupid, Sjow would have rolled that army and won the game if it was on the same server. Sjow outplayed HerO all game long, and I know how trite that word is on these forums, it deserves to be used.

Are you for real? Sweden to NA vs Korea to NA? That was a micro battle on both sides and Hero won fair and square.
Swedish internet is notoriously fantastic.
Edit: Rotti's tie looks a little sloppy

Did you read what I said? Read my post again please. I said "If it was on the same server" Did I comment on either players latency based on their locations right now? My comment came from the fact that in those positions, with both army compositions taken into account, Sjow would have won if there was no lag. There was lag, as you noted, on both sides. Don't patronize me without reading what I wrote.
@whatson...I know...I play NA-EU and NA-KR, I know...^
Sorry guys I threw that game away, Im playing really terrible on latency. Hero played on latency aswell so its all good
Come on now, let's not argue over server latency. It sucks, but it's best not to dwell too much on it and try to enjoy the remainder of tonight's matches.
fast game

was that gas first by Ryung?

Korean Terrans are the masters of 1 1 1 openings. For so long thats what they all did nearly every game on the ladder in TvT :p
Naw, it was 13 vs 13 gas.
Just build a bunker DeMusliM
haha. Bitter and Rotterdam:D
I just gotta say, Bitterdam fucking AWESOME. Exactly what NASL needs to become more relevant in the community.
<3 LOL Koreans, always innovating...
Nicely done by Ryung, picking off Demuslim 4 marines when going banshee is pretty decent!
Very nice control from Ryung, I think his build this game is quite good for Ohana, you can take advantage of the meta and punish a gasless expo, following it up with a tank push can end games quite fast.
edit: DeMusliM cannot engage this in his natural without taking losses, if he scouts what's up he will probably move some rines out on the map to stall and flank.
Ryung hitting a bit late with stim and medivacs pretty much ready.
That tank T_T, Nice play by DeMusliM, very nice on the fly decision making, quite refreshing to see compared to last game lol ><
Drop was brilliant, WP Demuslim.
Impressive win by Demuslim.
I feel that 111 hits at better timing, with same amount of units, with no cloak. Hitting before stim and medivacs.
Nooo... LE version of Daybreak Please consider using the GSL version with a 1hyg5min third instead of this!!!
Seems NASL heard the conspiracy theorists claiming that they had something to hide and that games were 2 week old replays.... showing the countdown screen to remove all doubt. Although Obama released his birth certificate and the birthers are still there....
14 cc vs 1 rax fe is the best possible situation for ryung
Hero will go 8-0 in this group. No doubt about that.
On May 04 2012 11:18 monitor wrote:Nooo... LE version of Daybreak Please consider using the GSL version with a 1hyg5min third instead of this!!!
Yeah, I have to second this, it's a shame a few of the smaller tournaments are requiring the LE, but NASL? >.<
Theoretically Ryung should actually be farther ahead with his build considering the addition of a bunker early on as well, interesting to see that isn't the case in practice
Demuslim is a macro beast, catches up supply being something like 20 behind a minute prior.
OK now please don't go full foreigner. (Crosses fingers)
FUCK YEAH! GO DEMU! Ryung in a TvT, that has to feel good.
edit: Doh double post, NASL thread is kind of dead, it's a shame even with Bitterdam the viewer count isn't higher
DEMUSLIM, beating a TvT monster! So pro in the NASL like always!

Wellplayed by Demuslim knew he could do it!

wow go go demuslim. Glad I wasnt betting on that one.

demuslim in really good form!
Ahaha poor Ryung can't even win in his favorite matchup against foreigners anymore. Amazing play by Demu.
pretty unexpected, especially after the openings (cc first vs 1 rax expo).. props to demu!
Demu has worked so hard on his TvT as of late and it has really paid off. His understanding of the match up is top class and when his mechanics are up to par he can beat anyone in TvT.
Demu's macro impresses me, and his marine tank control is massively sexy. If only he could beat protoss, he'd be one of the best foreigners in the game...
Yay Demu! I hope one day we will see consistency in his tournament plays. He shows, sometimes, such a beautiful games.
Demu is in the playoffs for sure.

I could have sworn crazymoving was Chinese..weird.
Demuslim can beat NonY (Ryung beat him, and Ryung's TvP is a joke), Demu's TvZ is majorly strong so he can do well against Crazy and Dimaga, and perhaps beat HasuObs in TvP because hasu has been mediocre recently. He'll get crushed by HerO though. But as long as he wins three of his matchups, he looks a cert to get into 2nd place and I think that seeds well into playoffs.

I like how he used the few early zerglings to force out the forcefields, even if they failed to kill anything, it makes the reinforcing zerglings so much stronger.

he was never going to win that map anyway its terrible for his style

Wow, NASL is soooo awesome. Replay of important moment in middle of the game while there's no action, crazy good. I am amazed how NASL stepped up their act while always improving. Love this! <3

Thats proberly the worst protoss play I ever seen.

Tyler played pretty good that game, but didn't quite finish it off

Moving into those spines was a really bad move. :/

On May 04 2012 12:14 Stanlot wrote: Why did he blink into the spines? @_@
I think at the time of he was moving out he didn't know there would be 20 spines. I think he still thought there was only 4-5 spines.

OK yes sorry saw on the second game the RL name is small and off to the right. My bad.
NonY played that well he had openings I just think he didn't take full advantage when he could.
Players should start taking out the rock at the 3rd at the beginning, for all-in or just pressure.

NASL's production this season has been phenomenal. If they can pull off a successful LAN finals and continue this quality, they could very well become the premier NA league.
I thin Nony just needed to be a little bit more on the ball with forcefields and storms and that series could have been different!
Definitely think he overextended with that push after his sentries went down... I'd say that was his biggest mistake strategically, the spinecrawler blink was bad but I think he had already lost by that point

So you saying Denmark is part of NA:D
I think NonY needs to just play more and improve his APM. I think the first attack that NonY does is really good, he really needs to improve his mechanical skill though, but that will come. His ffs on the ramp were well timed and made the sentries worth it. If he had better reaction time with his army when he walked out, I think he would have been in a game winning position.
I also think that he might have been able to meet up with his six sentries on the ramp had he not lost one sentry needlessly to roaches. But overall I felt like NonY played quite well strategically, it's imperative that he plays faster though. He made a number of micro mistakes that we're not used to seeing at this level of sc2 anymore.

Nice work by Dimaga for winning the series.
MrBitter, I'm with you - Stephano is the Mozart Zerg :D
great decision making/prioritizing by cloud against that roach/ling/bane pressure.
Dimaga's ZvZ too strong
Cloud was neck and neck with Stephano, better upgrades, great economy...
Then he just dies.
Instant Replay really cool! great game, stephano truly is an outstanding player!
shiiiiiit. Positioning is a harsh mistress.
Stephano using... Banelings. He's switching it up.
No infestors too.
Perfect 2/2 Timing attack and Cloud dies gg
Ouch, that 2/2 timing is brutal. Cloud had great control and positioning but got rolled. Nice to see Stephano switching it up, Cloud thought he faces ling infestor but Stephano three base all-ins 2 x in a row with ling baneling roach, poor Cloud.

The build he used at Assembly was actually much different.
He opened infestor, used infested terrans to absorb the first tank shots, and then rolled in with pure ling/bane. (50+ banes)
