Mvp vs parting should be the finals. But if Parting bets Mvp I hope that he plays against Liquid Hero in the finals

As long as there are big money on the line, people are going to do whatever it takes to win, and MPV prepared theese cheesy or all in strategies against Naniwa because he knew they probably would be good against Nanis play style.
So he just did whas should be expected, its not the players fault all inns and cheeses are as powerful as they are.

Anyways was hoping for Nani to win because foreigner, but the best prepared player won today.

Go Mvp! Teach those greedy tosses a lesson!

In the end, I hope we get an epic TvP finals. Parting v Taeja or Mvp v Squirtle/Hero would be awesome.

They are only powerful against greedy play. Safe play is standard for a reason.

MVP's facial expression after the second game is pure gold. (Nani's too.)

When you solve differential equations, the complete solution is a composite of the general AND particular solution.

Naniwa only prepared to solve the particular solution, where was the training to make sure that his builds had sufficient safeguards/responses to various timings?

This is a failure of training and training mindset.

I agree with the people who say MVP deserves the win. Last time I checked you advance in tournaments by winning, not by how much "honor" you play with.
Live it up.

People shouldnt hate on MVP for cheesing. He most likely studied Naniwa's play and saw that Nani plays greedy and planned out accordingly.

I think that you guys don't get the point,

Cheesing is disgraceful and should be avoided at this lvl of play, sure Nani should have countered them and stuff, but I feel like the general notion of cheese is disrespectful for your opponent, 2 ways you can interpret it IMO :

- I suck too much to take Nani late game.
- Everybody hates Nani in Korea, i'll just Humiliate the guy.

So yeah this is my own point of view regarding cheese, I am not appealing any one to support me or to comment this, but my FEELING today, is that MVP does not deserve any respect from me anymore.

And I am not swedish, neither am I a protoss player, nor a fanboy.

Just a regular fan of the GSL who'd like to see better games and more respect than a straight up 3 cheeses in a row.

So yeah I spit on MVP and hope he will get his butt kicked by partying

worst post..ever? Go play Civilization if you want a timeout in your game. Real men play Starcraft because it pure aggression from the very first minute.

why not petition gsl to have a 20 min no rush rul then?

exactly what I was thinking, 20 mins probably not enough, more like NR30 or NR40 for him

Don't be disheartened Naniwa, you know you're the better player and can get those wins!

This is a joke. Mvp is more accomplished than any player on the planet. It was extremely clear from the player cam that even after one game his wrists were causing him pain.

He would still destroy anyone on the planet except maybe DRG or Parting in late game macro, he is the best player in the world.

I dont know if you can argue that a player dont deserve to win when he wins.... but if there ever was a case this one would be pretty close. I mean there is close to no skill in winning with those builds, anyone could have pulled those builds off.

I mean Naniwa should expect it and be able to counter it but yeah... Naniwa lost more then MVP won. Which the Parting MVP match will show. Cause cheesing will obviously not be an option then.

Why didn't he showed awesome games then ? Why did he prefer to do 2 cheesy build ? The MVP I remember gave me the chills, this one made me a sad panda

You don't play awesome games against a protoss who is greedy. You punish him early or you lose.

When the opponent goes for eco cheese and you know that he always goes for that, why shouldn't you cheese?

So you agree that Naniwa lost it himself? Good good, this means that even tho MVP didn't prove that he is better than Naniwa, Naniwa proved that he is worst than MVP in the series.

He can barely play with the ways his wrists are, he wants to win as fast as possible in order to put the least amount of strain on them.
