Yeah, but now it's just regular QQ like every race goes through.
But imagine every terran gets knocked out and we're left with PvP's in the Ro4?
I don't want to be in the LR on that day.

I don't think it was the prime cause of MKP's collapse but I do think being tired and somewhat jetlagged after his NY trip may have been part of the reason why he fell apart quite so quickly.
Doubt it. MLG is a lot of money to pass up for such a small time commitment. Are you trolling or is that sarcasm, cuz I can't tell. MLG is 5k, and that's IF you win, definitely not worth risking your chances at the most prestige tournament in the world. It's a weekend. That's an incredibly short amount of time. In addition, you get favorable placement in future MLG events. Korean players go to foreign events for the money. There's a lot of money to be had. I think you're overrating the importance of the GSL. Just because it's "the most prestig[ious] tournament in the world" does not make it as profitable as going to many smaller events. For example, look at Stephano. He's ranked so highly in earnings, and has never touched the GSL. That's because there's a lot of money to be had outside of it.

Some cool late game shit that fixes TvP.
TvZ is basically fine. The better player generally wins nowadays.
Except when DRG got eliminated, that was bullshit

Or you know... make mech viable somehow That's pretty much what has to happen. Slam the Marine and the Banshee into the ground with ridiculous nerfs, and then reduce the Siege Tank's cost by 25 gas and 1 supply. Oh, and remove the Immortal from the game. But without the Immortal, Protoss can't really deal with that, so the Roach has to go too. But without Roaches, how can Zerg deal with Hellion Expand? Those will have to go too. But without Hellions, how can mech deal with Chargelots? Zealots will have to be removed. But then how does Protoss deal with Marauders? Guess we have to give those the axe.
You see what I'm getting at? It's a problem deeply ingrained into SC2, and can only really be fixed with a really comprehensive set of changes. There are a series of units that demand answers from other units, and the answers that are being demanded are hurting the game. I didn't even START to touch on the issues with the Colossus, the Sentry, or the Mutalisk, to name a few. I'm really hoping HotS starts to dig into thise problems.

I don't follow your logic? Taeja played well after losing quite badly MKP played bad after losing quite badly The better player did win
MKP just had bad games. Take him rested BO 21 - he would crush Taeja twice the score. Taeja is not better player, just played better in last 2 games..

I'm still pissed about the fact that it took Terrans something like a year after the game's release to figure out that BFH were really broken. That's why I'm not sympathizing with Terrans quite yet. I think there might be some answers the pros haven't dug out.

This is ironic since Slayers took Taeja, Coca, and Puzzle all from ZeNex.
