The mental aspect of the game is just as important. Clearly, tilting so easily makes you a weaker player on the whole. If its a weakness he can't avoid, its a weakness.

Not to say I'm not an mkp fan but its true.


I agree wholeheartedly. MKP played splendidly all the way until the 3rd match against Parting. After that he completely (and I mean COMPLETELY) fell apart.

MKP could easily be the best player in the world if he hardened his focus.

Right, even if Taeja doesn't go on tilt after losing to Parting, then they would both be even, and we saw what happened in the first series when they are even mindset. I'm not saying the better player of the last series didn't win, Taeja played better there and he deserved it, I'm just saying the better player overall didn't get through the group.

You guys forget that MKP has made it to plenty of GSL finals and lost? If his mentality gets crushed that easily in a Ro16 he doesn't deserve to move on.

Yeah, people seem to be ignoring factoring in mental strength into their analysis of a player's abilities. Mental toughness IS a huge part of being a good player. You can't judge a player solely on his play when he's playing his best. You have to judge a player by consistency and mentality.

Nooooooo, I slept past almost the entire day of games, except for the last MKP vs Taeja game.

I guess I'll have to catch up on the vods of that MKP vs Parting series.

Yeah sadly i dont think hes going to make it through the protoss' of the other groups. He is kind of a one trick player (hes trick being obliterating terrans).
