Loading up his marines for a drop was just too much of a risk without knowing what his opponent was doing. Parting showed this.

More generally, it's always funny when people quote a pro of race X complaining that race Y or Z is too strong. Yeah... pros may know a lot about the game, but the way they complain about balance almost always falls along racial lines. It's funny when people try to make arguments from authority because the "authorities" often disagree with each other depending on what race they play.

Well played by Parting though. Yes because it is a rather good map for Toss...? The map seems pretty balanced in PvT and makes for great macro games if players choose to do so - naturals are easy to take and drops can be quite good on that map as well. It was an important map and that´s why BOTH players chose something gimmicky - it was mainly luck for parting and bad timing/decision making by MKP imho... They are both insanely good players.

I won't be surprised if ST_Parting and MarineKingPrime become like what Bisu and Flash become (except in SC2, and maybe less legendary. Because Flash and Bisu are more legendary) Considering BW pros will probably be playing SC2 full time in a few months, Flash and Bisu will probably be the the Flash and Bisu of SC2 ![]()

There's no mythic pure "skill" where two players just sit and macro and micro armies until the game is over.

Actually wtf are you saying MKP didn't play well till his retarded drop timing game 3. Anyway the strength of ghost timing punishes a toss relying heavily on sentry for defense but Parting gets out tons of just units, not sentry really. And then chargelots, so with fast medivacs you can't stim a lot. Have to see timings I guess in an actual game.
