The decisions that decide the game are more important.
If you can make 13,999,999,999 bad decisions and still win those decisions clearly don't matter.
Ret didn't play amazing just because he built drones. Genius outplayed him in G1.

Plus, it was the only "remotely smart" decision he had to make all game, and he botched it. The start of the game was just a Hive rush after mechanically droning to 100 drones...
