No to tell him how to play l8tgame vs Protoss if you didnt notise Ret tryed to copy what Stephano does but failed horrible.
He didnt make enough spines and he had to little infestors and his control and decision making was horrible.
You really dont know much about Stephano ZvP play do you?

Ret did not capitalize on the lead he gained in any way. He had no vision of Genius army and walked into a concave with a few infestors some broods and corrupters, while genius had stalkers and collosus. Also he put literally NO pressure on genius.
Sadly he has noone to blame but himself.

1. MarineKing 2. MMA 3. Mvp 4. Jjakji 5. Polt 6. aLive 7. Supernova 8. Ganzi 9. Bomber 10. GhostKing Taeja is easily better than ghostking who even when he was byun never put up significant results, and bomber hasn't been relevant for months. Taeja is good, but i feel he is overhyped now, because he joined Liquid. He need some result in big tournaments. Is eliminating two GSL champions in a row in Code S not big tournament results? Yes but he needs to win the whole thing + have a few other championships to be called the best or be ranked top tier. Right now he is still very good but not good enough to be called the very top tier of korean terrans. If he loses in the next round, what is there to differentiate him from someone like virus, who even beat Nestea and MC in previous rounds? Yet, virus is not even in most peoples top 10 list. I wouldn't even put Virus in a Top 20 Terran list tbh. Nevertheless, both Taeja and GhostKing needs to show good performance over a longer duration. GhostKing had been gone for several months, I'm pretty sure one's skill level can/will change over such time. o.O Plenty of people have done well in one GSL only to drop off the radar afterwards. People put too much legitimacy in Code S. Polt has dropped into A 48 twice in a row now. Does that make him bad? TaeJa needed a seed to get into Code A. Does that make him bad? Players like Life have a lot of trouble getting through the Code A qualifiers. Does that make them bad? What are you talking about? Taeja made it into Code A from the preliminaries in August. He hasn't left GSL Code A or S since then.
*facepalm I meant DRG and his code S seed. There's plenty of examples :p

sucks for Ret to be on the Code S Korean side of the bracket...he can go much further if he's on the lower end against Europeans and Monster.

He had map control and had roach tech ready incase he needed to make units.

If genius attacked earlier, ret would have been in lots of trouble you have to calculate that he saw early third from genius and knew he would have a smaller army.. i think he made the right decision in that case, he lost the game only because of having no support and too many drones later on.

What are you talking about Ret is miles better then Idra. I think idra is past the macro machine and is actually trying to understand the game. Ret does his own thing and sometimes wins.
Sometimes? Lol. He doesn't lose often to non koreans. Idra on the other hand still drops games to Cruncher

Mmh, Ret didn't morphed his over-25 drones into spines during his Broodlord-Transition... the first battle at his 4th wouldn't have caught Ret this off-guard :/ imagine Genius stepping into 12 spines in the north ^^

Yeah, he should have left it for dead and relocated the drones to the south. But it's easy to say when we have maphacks.

Genius has some nice unit control.

Genius better finish this kid off. Ret so overrated for his marcro, making only drones isn`t that impressive.
