admins are doing a good job though and responding to things very quickly. but the format/rules seem sketch.
whats wrong with the format? 2 tournies bo3's bo7 final, clearly heavily favors the most skilled player. playhems bo1 system was a huge stretch, in sc1 i could see it but sc2 just isn't that kind of game. lots of poker at work in sc2.

the actual format is good but they need to speed it up because events will take 8 hours to complete.

It seems really silly to make the finals of one event the following day, coinciding with qualifiers.
Finals for each qualifier should just have been at the end of that same day...

Yup agreed. That is one of the reasons I am not playing in it (not saying I would make finals but since it's only NA players much better chance ) is the fact that even if I make the finals, I would have to forfeit it as I work all weekend so no point playing in monday qualifiers that the finals are on that sunday/saturday can't remember which

GO INSUR and MYSTIK!! !!!!!!!!!!!

I love how the tournament admins are very attentive and professional, and how the tournament is set up.
However, I do not like how we have to wait for 1 round to complete before moving onto the next one, along with the map selection system. Having 1 player select 2 maps in a bo3 is just not fair to the other player.

Beyond gaming wheres the stream for your event?! I have results but I'm holding them till after the stream...no stream though ?
edit: nevermind maybe they weren't listed under their event, I see stream now :D

Just lost in finals 1-2 to Sasquatch after 6.5 hours, soooooo long T_T grats Sasquatch tho

I'm totally out of the loop as far as the beyond gaming results are going lol...

So many free flights and hotels prizes being given out. The cost to run this tournament must be insane.
|
Exciting news! Gatored will be participating in the finals at Anaheim, have not seen/heard from that guy in quite a while.

Thanks for setting up this thread Rob! I'm really interested in seeing on the NA scene does. There are a couple players from the playhem qualifiers that I don't know much about and really look forward seeing how they match up against some of the more well known players.
Also HelloKitty and Area51Sasquatch won for the Beyond Gaming Qualifier Tuesday and Wednesday ^_^
|
I got a feeling Illusion could very well win it all
|
Grats Sasquatch Also BG you guys definitely should put up a stream of these qualifiers!
