A LOT of games were thrown away and you could see people giving up (too) early when they were behind. Probably alot of careless timing attacks as well... Therefore until now almost no fun watching these, I ended up reading a book instead. Also, I don't get why always the casters have to say stuff at the "analysis" when someone who knows better is next to them. In the end, the experts were only allowed to say 1-2 sentences and the rest of the time, useless blabla happenned. Why would they give up a game when every game could mean so much in the end? Don't be ridiculous. I am not trying to look for reasons, I am just describing what happenned. If you compare GSL Matches with these, it is obvious which are taken more seriously. I think that has more to do with all 8 players have traveled from the other side of the globe.

I like this small 8 man tourney over the big ones, you get to see most games and the tournament at large is easier to follow... On top of that all the matches are top level. Having a full compliment of casters works well too because they can stay fresh with more breaks (as there are less games to cover) and they are able to concentrate more and thus deliver more in depth analysis. This is the first tournament I have paid for and I am not disappointed. (well the streams lagged for me at times but meh life is good regardless :D )

For Winter Arena, I wasn't around during the first half the broadcast, but it allowed me to start at the beginning of the day and catch up over time. Maybe I need to update flash? Can anyone else verify they can't skip around? Failing that -- why not at least do a rebroadcast?

I thought the DVR functions were only on the MLG player for major events and not the twitch player for the arenas.
