+1 to Scarlett 5-0. Aurora isn't completely terrible, but it's still proving difficult for her to break top masters in to GM ranks (and not because GM is "broken").

Scarlett did well at IPL4, never even heard of Aurora, so yeah, this should be pretty one-sided. Should probably find a better known player for Scarlett to play against now that Scarlett is "the talk of the town".

I have a hard time seeing Scarlett losing this one, to be honest - Aurora may be good, but Scarlett beat Bumblebee, ddoro among others and took a game of Oz all in one tourney. I haven't seen anything like that from Aurora.

LgNAurora has apparently been training vs hard against some Korean zergs in preparation for this match. I know Scarlett is an amazing player, but zvz is a volatile match up I would not count Aurora out.

I think instead of a girl vs girl match. It should've been a mini tournament including two guys in the semifinal then they both get beat out by the girl then we have girl versus girl.

Bullshit, Scarlett isn't "such a good player for a girl", she's so good for a previously unknown player. The TLO example doesn't work at all as he already has a huge fanbase, so obviously he would get lots of attention. Maybe your post would make sense if Scarlett had taken a game off of 1 or 2 pros. But no, she took series off of multiple professional players. Any unknown player would have gotten a lot of attention for that, and for good reason.

Im amazed of how many simply accept a transgender as the other gender period. I personally have nothing against any sort of HBTq people and really do think whatever makes them happy is the right thing to do but to actually consider scarlett a woman is hard, bordering to impossible, for me... for me its a question of genetics not appereance nor lifestyle. But oh well, whatever makes Scarlett happy is again fine by me and I wish Scarlett the best of luck in every way.

Were is the line drawn, who draws it? What defines gender as a whole. And why do we need to make it this hard. Why cant we simply call it what it is, an aesthetic gender change. You do not actually change gender, that is currently impossible.

It helps when you differentiate between sex and gender. So yes, you can define gender by how you feel, as it isn't about how you are physically equipped, as far as I understand.
So basically, your gender identity can be different from your biological sex, which I imagine can be very frustrating to deal with (feeling trapped inside the wrong body), and thus you can undergo treatment to physically change into the sex you desire to be.

It's also worth noting that in Athletics being a man gives you alot more advantages than if you are female. Your body is bigger and stronger, thus allowing you to hit the 9.something second marks in the 100m, or throwing for 100m in the javelin. However in video games there are no inherent advantages to having a male body. Your arms do not help, your torso and core strength do not help either. Therefore we can make a big deal from this because video games like sc2 are cerebral, and
as she has the mind of a female and not of a male, that makes her female in the world of e-sports!
Anyways, looking forward to the match...can't wait to actually see Scarlett and aurora play! As demeaning as it may sound, could we have regular fvf show matches and call them cat fight sundays?

I think the point was that the other poster believed the showmatch to be suggested only because of the two players both being female. So the next post said that the purpose was not based on the two players being female, but that they were two legitimate professionals. And actually being a legitimate pro gives one a better chance then Aurora. The point was that it would be a good match, not that Aphrodite was superior to Scarlett, as you seem to have interpreted it.
