Good for him and all but I feel bad for the Iron Squid organizers, who were probably wishing for a very popular and well-known Top 4 for the live tournament. While one might argue that if Symbol shines through and wins the tournament (haha, against Nestea), he will be gaining a big fanbase, it seems more likely he'll be treated in the same vain as Alive as he's a bit of a colorless dullard. They re actually glad, they were kinda bummed that it could be all Terrans, now they have TvT, ZvZ and ZvT. Source: french stream XD

Source: french stream XD I'd bet for as many people as get turned off by no MKP you have just as many now firmly interested at the possibility of NesTea vs aLive/MMA too (let's face it, symbol rocks but he'll still be a massive underdog in a NvZ series). Finals going to be so sick =) On April 16 2012 06:10 vndods wrote: Still can't believe MKP lost 0-3 to one of those forever border Code A/Code B dwellers. Kind of embarrassing but whatever say whut, Symbol steadily improved last year, but made it to Code A only to hit Genius at the start of his god streak. He had good games in the GSTL and requalified this season for Code A again. Tough match vs sC but we'll see how he does. He's at least Code A and Code S capable in my books.

Did he really think he could get away with a 1 base hellion elevator push into 3CC too? I'm sorry but you're not playing foreign zergs, Korean zergs will maul you at the slightest hint of weakness. 1 rax CC would have been so much more stable and given him a better chance to execute his midgame aggression. Lol fucking symbol and his cheese can't win a standard macro game like MKP. fun day.

Kind of embarrassing but whatever These games were played on 4/11, right as MKP landed on his vega trips, as someone has mentioned. These games showed that Symbol really did his homework, and studied his opponent and played countered to that, while MKP didn't do his HW. But it's understandable that MKP didn't, as I doubt he had time, and had more important things to practice for (GSTL, IPL, etc)
