Is it really so hard to see an underdog really taking the win on this? Did he not just prove he could beat an obvious favorite, with an incredible steamroll I might add.

seriously... a player wins or loses and it affects you so much that you resort to the low level of communication possible?

Edit: Wasn't rooting for anyone in particular, Symbol or MKP, just a thought that popped into my head

Symbol is no joke, people talking as if he is some scrub.

Well I wouldn't call symbol trash. He played his cheese well and played well this tourney. He's definitely a better player than stephano from what I've seen. It's why I've never bought into the stephano hype. There are tons of players better than him that just don't get the chance to show it being stuck in korea.

The reasoning is, when you do those 2 rax openings that cuts SCV, the Zerg has to sacrifice even more economy to deal with it (making more lings, spine, pull drones etc). So in the end, it either puts the terran on even ground economically, or ahead. So to say that all 2 rax are cheese besides 12/14 is plain out wrong. I do agree that going to the extreme of pulling an extra 3-4 scv's to make 3 bunkers is somewhat cheesy tho.

But it's certainly sad to see an veteran like Boxer get eliminated the way he did. It was very, very frustrating to see as a fan of the Emperor. Of course, I wasn't going to root against MKP for the rest of his life just for that game. Hell, even MMA denied Boxer a Code S spot at Anaheim. But it seemed interesting to me that the two guys who knocked Boxer out got knocked out as well, perhaps a testament to Boxer's divine power? :p

Game 1 was a major stanky limburger cheese by Symbol Game 2 was MKP tilting and trying his own major cheese and failing GG Game 3 was MKP not playing his best and Symbol easily holding off an early attack then countering That series wasn't awesome. Game 3 was decent I will give you that. Really I think everyone in Paris has a great shot to win, Alive vs. Nestea rematch would be great, MMA vs. Symbol I think Symbol has a punchers chance. Here is how I think it goes down. aLive is on fire lately I see MMA trying some 1-1-1's and surprising aLive though. Edge goes to Alive's stunning macro but a great series was had aLive > MMA - 4-3 Nestea should handle Symbol quite easily if he can take out Stephano exhausted on Jetlag at IPL Now Nestea has time to prepare and he's going to be rested and ready Nestea > Symbol 4-1 aLive vs. Nestea rematch. Last time aLive seemed to have a little trouble with Nestea. I think its too close to call with Nestea on a good rest. I think the MMA vs. aLive game wearies aLive to where Nestea can kill aLive with speed. Nestea > aLive 4-2

Good for him and all but I feel bad for the Iron Squid organizers, who were probably wishing for a very popular and well-known Top 4 for the live tournament. In my opinion they were scared of a much much boring TvT demi and finals. Symbol play was awesome, so funny to see zerg being so aggressive versus T especially against MKP and all the games he won vs Z with 2 rax and semi cheesy builds. That was so funny to watch.Only game one was an all-in.
