Jesus fuckin christ, can't believe Foxer lost to 3 consecutive 2(1) base allins -_-

Well, he has only himself to blame... especially in that 1st game. I mean come on, I would've won that by building a bunker after my scv scouted a queen in the middle of the map. -_- -_- -_-

Oh well, there is still GSL I guess.

Bullshit. Symbol played brilliantly. He was the man with a plan. And he executed it and MKP! MKP won MLG with games like the ones he played today.

Well so much for my hope of MC MKP final. Oh well. Nestea got this now.

His whole game is not solid standard play, he couldn't be successful with MVP-like gameplay.

Exactly- MKP only knows two ways to play- cheesy or greedy. Symbol was smart enough to find ways to exploit that fact.

It's only his vZ though. His TvP and TvT are fairly standard.

Huh? Yes, they are. They didn't show late game skills, but they did show taking advantage of greed. Terrans skip marines and get 3 fast CC's all the time. I'm just glad it happened to MKP instead of MMA this time. MMA already had his Lucky...twice.

Just indicitive of how bad a player marineking is by that logic then?

No it's more indicative of how strong zerg cheese and all-ins are.

When were these games played?

Also wtf happened that MKP lost to one of those forever Code A players? Didn't even bother to watch and I check the results and it's 0-3. THE HELL MKP!

While I was rooting for MKP I have to admit Symbol played well. He knew both how to handle mkp's pressure and how to abuse MKP's greed. I still wouldn't favour him vs Nestea but I expect their games to be filled with subtle mindgames and clever little tricks on both their parts.

It's funny that in the 2 of the 3 games MKP was the one who bunker rushed and went for early aggresion and ppl blame Symbol that "all-ined" when he just did the right thing that was to kill MKP after he defended...

His TvT is not standard in the slightest. Just like in TvZ he does a lot of one-base aggression.

mkp skips so many corners in TvZ, that build was symbol playing the player and not the race. the othee 2 games were just symbol defending the random stuff mkp likes to do and getting a huge advantage

Just checked TLPD, that was the first time Marineking has ever lost to a Zerg three games in a row outside of one series to DRG in the FXO invitational in 2012.

Okay just checked every page, MKP has only ever lost three games in a row to zerg twice in his sc2 career, once to Losira and once to DRG.

Symbol making history!

I can see a MMA NesTea finals, but it could be anyone. MMA just play that mech you showed against Byun at IPL4.

I still wouldn't call this a huge milestone for Symbol though. It has to be a finals appearance. Byun, Ganzi, and aLive all made ro4 in GSL, but only aLive has lived up to some of the hype so far. For that matter, wth happened to TOP? I know he's code B, but just...qq Losira, too.

Being Ro4 of the GSL isn't hype. That's a testimony of performance. If you are looking for undeserved hype, there is ForGG.

Agree with this. These days almost EVERY PRO TvZ build I see, dies against these allins. There is almost nothing to learn from pro terrans atm, since 90% of them do greedy builds that do not work vs allin .

I dunno- I've seen him go low ground CC first against toss without scouting, which is pretty damn greedy plus a few SCV conga lines. Maybe not as much recently.

Which is actually quite frequent in Korean TvT. It's not just MKP.
