Its because it doesnt fucking matter what happens after the game! He LOST, while it is impressive he won the rest of the games it just straight up doesnt matter. ST's energy was gone after that game, the crowds energy was gone after that game, the series ended when the ref made that choice.

MKP's winning formula vs ling infestor = fast upgrades.
I was thinking a while back that the reason Stephano, Dimaga, etc. were able to crush Terran pushes mid game was because they had the upgrade advantage - having +1/+1 before Polt, Thorzain, etc. had +1/+1, and then +2/+2 before they had +2/+2. That made lings very efficient and allowed Zerg to safely transition to late game brood lords.
But then I thought, hey - why didn't Terrans get faster upgrades to counter this? A lot of reasons went through my mind but because I wasn't a Terran player I didn't delve into it.
Well, now the example is there.
MKP won that game on upgrades.

great finals, lots of exciting games, shame they'll only be remembered for one thing though. I'm sorry but mvp is much better than mkp. I'm pretty sure he's showed this by completely stomping him every time they've met. Why are people swayed so easily by recent performances? Cuz that's how we judge people by?
