It has caught my attention that there is almost not a single tournamant in the Eastern parts of The Netherlands so thats why i am gonna start one. Everyone is welcome from Bronze to GM.
Since Enschede is so close to Germany this might be a nice opportunity for german players to get some action.
You don't need to bring your computers, just your mouse, keyboard and headset. We got the rest. the entrance fee will be very low. The only sad part is i only have room for 20 people.
If you are interested just let me know, when we have enough players i will pick a date for the tournamant.

First i need enough players, then i will pick a date.
Also the 1st place prize might be pretty good because i am putting all the money that is getting made into prizes. This is by the community for the community.
How did you manage to rent WZZRD for a whole day and still having enough $$$ to pay the winner(s) ánd keeping the entrance fee low at the same time? Just curious.. otherwise, sounds really nice, somewhere in April would be nice, for example the 13th? Students like me can travel for free then.. dunno if other people see this as an advantage as well but you can expect your 20 players to come from all sides of Holland, not just the east.

I didn't rent it. I'm working together with them, we arranged something. Most of the money goes to them but a part is what I ''earn'' but every single euro that I earn is gonna be used as prize money because I don't do this for the money. I want to set something up that is fun, cheap and doesnt have a big entrance fee.
I might even put some of my own money into the prize money.
If it's after friday the 13th () i might be able to come/attend. I'm only a plat player lol so the only thing i'm good for is adding money to the prize pool

One this for sure, I'm gonna organize it as much as possible so we dont have alot of unnecessary downtime. But I don't want it to be a short day. I can't tell right now how long its gonna be I'm sorry.

When we have enough players I will start planning what day is best.
I really think you just should set a day, then people can decide to join or not. But that is just my opinion. Good luck, dont think im able to join Not really good player so im not even able to compete.

I support this. Set a date and then the people can join your LAN, even if they it´s on a very short notice. Make it a normal LAN perhaps and in between there is a SC2 tourney with a set prize money.
The normal LAN can be filled with your friends and then all PCs are free for the tourney. Small fee, so if not enough people show up your friends can join in etc.
Something like "if we are enough we make a plan for this weekend" doesn´t even work for a normal party weekend
If you really want to make it professional: Contact TaKe, he lives in Krefeld (140 km) and is manager/something of Team Alternate and Type http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/TaKe . This could be a good oportunity for both of you to set up a good event. (that´s really something that came in my mind while I was typing, no clue how possible this is)
@ topschutter: I did this on purpose so when I have enough people we can ''together'' decide a date which is okay for everyone. Also it doesn't matter if you are good or bad its all about the fun, you should come and i will personally see to it that you get entertained (no homo).
@dani: Thank you for joining, again i am gonna pick a date that is o.k for everyone.
@Hondelul: It won't be something big. I first wanna do something small and there is little to no room for change. This is my first time that I'm setting something up, there are a couple of seats left in total 20. Like i said you only have to bring your keyboard+mouse and headset ''if'' you want to. Oh and uhmm the events TaKe manages are huge, I don't compare myself to him in this matter lol.
Anyways I will pick a date asap then, I'll let you people know.
I think I will join, time to get some lan experience. I'll add you on skype tomorrow (: What about map pool? I want to prepare some builds By the way, I have friends living in the area, can I take them? Just so they can hang around and stuff? Because I have no idea what WZZRD exactly is.
By the way guys, i have not forgotten about the tournamant. It will start as soon as my contact person at WZZRD comes back from his vacation. It will be 10000% sure that the tournamant will take place from now till 4 weeks.
Tournamant is completely canceled, the place where i was gonna hold the tournamant got a makeover. There arent many computers to use and many other problems have occured. Sorry
