There's quite a bit of luck in GSL -- remember that DRG didn't even make it to Code A for many seasons because of how random the qualifiers are. Then MC fell to Code A, and out of it, before MLG let him instantly jump back into Code S. MVP, arguably the world's best player, fell to Code A the season after winning GSL because he lost to 2 baneling busts from July. Skill is important, but it's completely ignorant to ridicule the place that luck plays. For all we know, Gumiho could fall out of GSL next season and everyone will call this a fluke. DRG is so heavily favored because he's been consistently strong season after season, and has a rep in Korea for being the most dangerous Zerg. | ||

Dunno what you want? He was far ahead, yes. But it wasnt a "No, way he can come back" game. How often have we see a player come back cause he does a wierd allin or the other player messed it up. They are calling the games over too early every time. | ||
