QQ aside, I've always found TvP to be a boring matchup in SC2 - both when terran was winning and when protoss was winning. We have been seeing HT much earlier in TvP lately, when you really can't afford ghosts, and this is the time where they are REALLY strong, All you can do as Terran is try to mitigate the damage enough so that you can try to kill the army after all of the storms have been used up after already spreading your army out, and even that is really a pipe dream. why exactly cant you get ghost out that early? they are cheaper than HT.... it's not about cost, it's about build and transition and scouting
well its the same for fast col, TvP you NEED to figure out what they are doing asap, and either make mass bio, ghosts or viking. If you dont scout then you get punished for it. Nothing wrong with that

I don't think anything needs nerfing but something needs changing. It's really not so much that 'storm is strong' or any one thing which makes the matchup what it is, it's that both sides kind of have to do the same thing. All the P v Ts lately seem to be the same.
Reminds me of Z v P from a while back when it was always Roach/Hydra/Corrupter vs. deathball, and that sucked ass as well.
Kind of funny that all it took was the slight reduction in EMP size for us to end up here. That seems to be all that's changed.

If you can't afford ghosts how can Protoss afford HT? Anyway, now that HT are so popular can we see more tanks please? Oh wait, people think mech sucks because bio is much easier and generally better. But Protoss struggled so much the moment terran did something not bio for a change (1/1/1) because of how predictable MMM became. Anyway that's just my thoughts, I know people always then counter this with the true tried methods of terran but if the top skill ceiling of terran MMM(VG) has been reached then perhaps a new strategy needs to be explored. Whether players do it on their own or Blizzard buff something it does have to happen. People think mech suks because IT REALLY suks. 90% of protoss unit are meant to counter tank in this game.
Mech type builds are strong if unscouted (or if protoss has never played vs mech) because you have to play completely differently against them than you do with bio, but yeah if you see it coming they kinda suck. I think it would be good for terrans if they mixed in some more 2base allins that focus on some mech units (thors or tanks), while always trying to deny scouting because that would make things a bit harder on protoss and force us to review our midgame builds.
