I love when pros cheese and quickly clean up the match. I don't know why there is an expectation from people that extended macro games are the only games worth watching. If you take into consideration the entire set, I think it's pretty cool that HerO noted JYP's carelessness in scouting and punished him for it in the 3rd game. Underneath the fancy SC2 interface is a great battle of the minds that is going on.

It's upsetting to see Taeja still playing like trash in LAN environments. 1.5k banked mins at 15 min mark? He's astronomically better than that. After smashing aLive and Jjakji, I expected him to make Lucky cry. But alas, his nerves are still holding him back..

On the same note: It's hilarious to watch him steamroll everybody, even when he's playing at only 50% of his potential.

Going into this season with the last season fresh in your mind, ForGG looks like the most overrated player in a long while. Not impressed at all. And all the hype! Damn.

Im sorry... no he didnt. In games 2 and 3 he threw away units constantly, in game two he decided to engage StCs MECH (5-6 tanks all siged up) army with his half like bio army, at the StCs base when he had 0 medivacs.
In Game 3, he kepts stimming an running his marines into the StCs when it was clear not only does he have less marines AND tanks, but his tanks siged up AFTER StCs.

Somebody told me that BW pros were superior...were they wrong? I thought there was an elephant in the room or something. But I guess those same people will now say fOrGG sucks...even though they were acting like he was going to win 10 GSLs two months ago.

Hey guys quick question: I just received a very good PM telling me that if you watch the stream 1 VODs BEFORE watching stream 2 VODs, you are eventually spoiled about stream 2 games from stream 1. Is this true?

I don't see why people are downvoting the TaeJa v Lucky series. TaeJa's bio micro alone last night makes those games worth watching. @_@

Yeah it's annoying that they keep cutting over and discussing steam 2 on stream 1. I watched the stream 2 vods first for exactly that reason.

I agree. I admit I bought into it, thinking he would show us how BW players could show us new things and/or dominate this scene. Pretty disappointed

I'm still a fan because he plays so aggressive. I'm always a fan of that style just hope he tightens it up.

I was rooting for Forgg to fail miserably this season to be honest, just because I got tired of the bandwagon flavor of the month ultra hype that happens on these forums and the whole elephant in the room stupid debate. After watching his stream a few times, I wasn't that impressed, sure he's decent but he was definetly not at the level of MVP/MMA etc, especially late game. Funny how apparently Forgg was going to win this GSL without losing a match because SC2 pros are supposedly that much worse than recent BW pros, but then when he loses they all drop him quick and say "well he was kinda shitty in BW anyway".

All that being said, now I'm actually kinda sad to see him fail so hard since I did watch BW and I do love BW legends, I just hate how other BW fans always have to take any chance they get to belittle SC2 player's skills and act like any A teamer would win every GSL within months of switching. Sad seeing Boxer, Sen, Forgg and July all lose in one day. So sorry Forgg, better luck next time.
