Surely blink stalkers with shield upgrades that are well microed are just godly? Shield upgrades are usually acquired after the attack and armor upgrades are acquired. Double forge is much more common in PvT so it can get to the point where armor and attack upgrades are exhausted, so shields are the next to be upgraded. Usually in PvZ, only one forge is used so it rarely gets to the point where shields are the only upgrade left. Not to mention that protoss need to keep up with Z's unit numbers in the late game and eventually into Mothership/Colossus/Archon, which are gas heavy, it's better to spend gas on those. | ||
