Oz, JYP, Puzzle, Brown all deserve to be ranked higher than Treme, Creator or Parting.
This is why who's the best X discussions are dumb, people are clueless.

While I generally agree, I would leave out JYP because he has one match up so pathetically weak that he's a liability in team leagues.

Shocked by MC losing 3-0. Not so much by DRG owning parting 3-0 though
|
It's now the time for DRG to stomp the next poor nerd and then crush his fellow mate in the finals.

incontrol lost his bet to catz

the fuck happened here? :o
I mean, DRG beating PartinG was expected, but Genius 3-0'ing MC? The hell? I mean, Genius has been playing incredible as of lately, but so has MC, really didn't think it would be this onesided. Oh well, live and learn.
As for the RO4, I'm 95% sure DRG will beat Gumiho. As far as aLive vs Genius goes... both have been playing so amazing as of late that anything can happen. I'm not sure who to liquibet here. However, I do believe that whoever wins that semifinal will beat DRG in the finals as well. Just a feeling of mine.

DRG is looking like he's taking this GSL.

I'm not sure where I read this but I'm pretty sure Genius himself said he doesn't practice much.

As much as I freaking love the Parting-train, DRG played VERY well and I'm proud of how parting was holding. It was clear that he made some mistakes once DRG began to engage throughout the game but Parting earned his spot as a GSL top 8 code S.
I hope more Protosses get exposure to Partings...well...quirky macro style. Against any other Z, his builds would have cracked the Z open. In his RO16 matches he showed amazing unit control and crisis management, beating Jjakji with 4 decisive wins and no losses and only getting a little behind MC and his godlike unit control off of 1-base play.
IMO MC began to tilt after he lost to a 4g so easily (overconfident misread of the situation) and Parting didn't have DRG level zergs to prepare against, making any response to his builds much weaker in comparison (and thus allowing some mis-information to seep into the expected responses). DRG played smart and reactive, showing why he is the only zerg remaining (after trumping NesTea) and Genius used information the best way I've seen in a long time to throw off MC and engage only when he knows he can win.
Good day of GSL, despite 2 3-0s.

wow just noticed that MC wore a razer headset even though he is sponsored by steelseries

Sad only 1 protss made it, but at least 4 are locked in for next season. I want MvP finals

He mentioned yesterday that it'd be easy to play against you. A: For mirror match ups, it is still mainly about luck in the openings and the player condition on that day. I am not too worried about what he said. I think it's still a 50:50 chance for our game.
Because it's a mirror matchup, I think that I would not have to practise so hard. As such, I think it's not too bad facing against him. we will never know if this was psychological warfare though.

I bet Idra was cheering for Parting so his bs imbalance whine would make sense.
Im sad for MC.

MC and parting might have had bad days. But damn but DongRaeGu and especially Genius are gooooooood. On February 17 2012 01:50 Bashion wrote:I bet Idra was cheering for Parting so his bs imbalance would make sense. Im sad for MC.
Why did you randomly bash the Grack?

wowed by the 3-0s tonight. Especially MC getting rocked

So does this mean DRG won't be going to the Winter Arena MLG thing? He'd have to hop on a plane right after his semi-final matches, and it would cut into his practice time for the finals.
|
Wow we are going to have a new GSL champion this season, who would have thought?

Damn imagine blizzard cup runner up, king of kongs champ, FIS champ, Winter Arena Champ, GSL champ lol. As much as i want to see him tear every shit up, i hope he can be in the best possible condition for the gsl finals, assuming he gets there. This guy really deserves a gsl championship.
